How can someone tell if their Garage is suitable for conversion?
The majority of integral garages are suitable for conversion. Access will need to be gained from the house in most cases so really just enough room to put a door will be fine.
Run us through the different stages of the Garage conversion process - what's involved?
Remove the garage door and brick up. Fit window and cut out internal door and put lintel in. Put floor joists or jablite in. First fix Electrics and plumbing. Lay floor and insulate where needed. Fireboard the room and plaster. Second fix the electrics and plumbing. Fit skirting boards and decorate. Lay carpet or flooring of choice
