Christy Cisneros is my new stylist. I highly recommend her!! When I first went to her, my hair was extremely damaged from medication and a bad bleach job. She made me feel comfortable from the get go; I felt very safe with her working on my hair. She explained what she was going to do to help repair my hair and the process. I'm very happy to have found this salon. Unlike most other hair salons I have been to in Lubbock, they truly listen to you when you explain what you want. Yesterday I had an appointment with Alexis Mendoza for hair coloring and trim. I'll have to admit I was nervous. Ended up being the best salon experience I've ever had. She explained every detail to me what to expect and what not to expect. She was very through. Best stylist I've ever been to. The whole staff was so friendly. As I watched the other stylist with their clients I did not see a haircut go out the door that wasn't spectacular!! I can not recommend this place without saying it is the BEST!! I am a very timid hair person, afterall my hair is my glory! I rarely get my hair cut because I have had some really bad experiences you know the kind where you go in with an optimist mindset and tell yourself "it'll be different this time"  and try to explain it to a stylist and then anxiously sit through snip after snip only to end in bitter disappointment and try to hold it together long enough to get to your car just to burst into tears and pray it grows back quickly! Yeah that bad and almost after every single cut since the time I was 11 now that's a lot of bad hair cuts I dreaded getting my hair cut almost as much as we all dread that "yearly doctor visit" you know the one I'm talking about! That is until I got my hair cut by Kayla at La Foi salon the first time I was my usual anxious self and I requested a basic trim but "not to short" and only cut my split ends then snip snip as I sat anxiously waiting see if she would follow my request and sure enough she did exactly what I asked and my hair felt lighter, healthier, and I felt renewed it changed my entire experience of going to the salon. I finally understood why most women look forward to a day at the salon. I've had my hair cut by kayla for over a year now and yesterday I was bold and tried a completely different style with a face frame and long layers I haven't had layers since I was 17 when I had my last really terrible hack job so I was anxious to say the least but I trusted her because she has been cutting my hair exactly the way I liked it and it gave me the confidence to try something new and I love it soo much and my husband loved it too! I see Casey and she’s WONDERFUL. I’m always able to get in with not much of a wait. She listens to what it is I want and especially with color will make sure it’s right. It’s so nice to go and sit down and be pampered because she knows what to do with my hair. The entire staff is wonderful. This was my first time using this place.. I called and made an appointment with Alexis for my bday Oct. 20th... I hadn’t had a hair cut in a long time due to nobody being able to cut my hair correctly and the bad service my 11yr. Daughter had at another salon... I went in with an idea of how I wanted my hair to look and came out even better... Alexis was very sweet and treated me very special for my bday..I even made an appointment for my daughter for her bday.. the prices were GREAT! I have a better haircut for the price they charged than I have had paying 65$.. I am able to fix my hair just as good on my own and I find that a very good sign of a good stylist... My first experience at this establishment was nothing short of amazing. From the moment I walked in, i was greeted with warm bubbly smiles and immediately taken back to my stylist, Christy. Initially, I was very nervous and didn't know what to expect. Christy sensed this and alleviated my worries instantly. She provided a calm, warm, and loving atmosphere. I felt like i was truly at home. We discussed in depth about the color, cut, and style I wanted. She was so attentive and explained every detail of what was going to occur during my visit. My mom has been going to Lee Ann since they opened the shop! She loves it! I moved away after getting married and decided to try something near by since I was five hours from La Foi. it was a disaster! I hadn't dyed my hair in four years and the result was not what I was hoping for. I came to visit my family last weekend and was able to get an appointment with Lee Ann. She seriously saved me! I love it so much and I will be making the five hours just to come here! They are awesome, friendly, clean and such sweet welcoming girls! 5 Stars for Lai Foi Salon and Leann.

I recently moved to Lubbock from the Dallas area and was looking for a decent place to get a haircut. As many of you know looking for a new hair stylist is nerve wracking. My hair is very fine so it's hard to make it look the way I like.


My first Lubbock try was someone at Toni and Guy and it was an overpriced failure.

My regular stylist is Alexis she's awesome, she listens and gives great advice. Everytime I've done what she suggested it worked out well. I always get wonderful compliments when she does my hair.
