My boyfriend and I went here a few weeks ago and were in quite a rush. We asked if we would be able to eat and leave within 30 minutes, even though it was their peak dinner hour. The server kindly seated us and attended to us and got us out exactly on time (maybe a couple minutes late), but the food was absolutely spectacular and their fruit juice is AMAZING. My best experience of Colombian cuisine! People are great, the atmosphere is welcoming and cozy, appetizer is top-notch!
I love to eat at places that are well-designed, reasonably priced, and conveniently located. La Chiva is truly one of my favorite restaurants that deserves ten stars for a great variety of delicious authentic Colombian foods, hospitality, great organization, design, and logistical convenience.
I love to have freshly made arepa with hot chocolate for breakfast over there. Recently I came for lunch during the world cup game and encountered tons of beautiful cheering people in yellow jerseys (unforgettable)! Once, I took my wife there for her birthday's dinner, and it was a success!
Thank you tons, La Chiva, for your outstanding hospitality and great Colombian experience in Denver!!!

I love the place, I love the food. I would like to see even more variety of Colombian food because there is a lot! The only thing i would improve is one specific lady who works there. She was helping to clean tables and pick up staff... but the service to people when we asked her for things was not polite. I dont even know if she speaks Spanish... but she could be more polite. We Colombian or even hispanic people usually have a smile on our face and are excited to try restaurants. We would love to see a smile back too. People love to go to places where people show they love what they do and treat clients well. Just a tip to improve costumer service! More...

Amazing resturant! Not Colombian portions but food was very authentic. What they truly can not make authentic because of limited kinds of true Colombian Ingredients that we can get here in the USA ,they have come up with great alternatives. We will be back!!!!
