So, I have stopped by this little creperie now about four or five times. If you want a real, authentic, the-real-McCoy kind of experience, this is it: there is a fine list of savory crepes and an exquisite list of sweet dessert crepes. I only know of one other place in the US that I have had such lovely crepes: Frjtz in San Francisco. Of course, you could travel all the way to Belgium or France to experience such authenticity, but trust me...these are the fast, good, old-fashioned, delicious crepes that your Aunt Giselle used to talk about. It is a small place, so eating inside may be a bit crowded. Even if there are only two more people in the place with you, you may have to lean forward at your table so that someone can pass by on the way to the miniscule kitchen area. Suggestion: Take it to go! Enjoy a luxurious crepe on the Nicollet Mall and let others salivate as they watch you! More...
