Place: L-Eat catering is owned by the same owners of Paese (next door to one another) .Food: I love that they support and believe in sustainable eating. They have an amazing menu with a variety of food options for people with dietary restrictions (amazing vegan jack fruit pulled "pork" sliders).Favourite dishes:Chicken and wafflesSouthern fried chicken drumette & steam whistle shooter Pinot noir duck breastThe meats here are cooked to perfection. Everything is so tender and flavourful. The flavour combinations go so well together. Dessert:Chocolate peanut butter cup (peanut brittle tuile, peanut butter ice cream strawberry coulis and candied peanuts).This is something I can eat all day, everyday. We have used L-eat catering many times over the years. Recently we hosted a small birthday party and L-eat provided a delicious dinner for 12 people. We recently hosted a company event that was centered around outdoor/physical activity. We wanted something that was light and refreshing, but outside of your ordinary sandwich spread and still maintained a high-level in quality. L-Eat catering offers an amazing variety to choose from in terms of breads, dips, bruschettas, flatbreads, salads and wraps. The side of salmon is especially recommended as it was our biggest hit. Everyone raved about the food and was more than stuffed after delving into the spread. For 25 of us, the pricing was very reasonable. We even ended up with enough food leftover to cover snacking at the office the next day. Also important to note is that the food comes in heavy-duty plastic serving bowls/containers that are presentable enough to keep the food in for displaying. Renee, our coordinator, was quick to reply to our many inquiries and was happy to help with a detailed breakdown of all dietary information within our selected menu. I was in charge of hosting and planning my sister's engagement party and Renee Foote and her L-eat catering team did an amazing job in bringing all of the things I had visualized into reality. She made sure that this would not be a stressful time for me as she was there through every step of the way with me. Whatever I wanted or did not wanted were adjusted perfectly and quickly by Renee, ensuring the engagement party was beautifully done. The food was amazing, the service was impeccable, the floral was beautiful... basically everything was gorgeous. I was recently the maid of honour at my best friend Carly's wedding at Enoch Turner Schoolhouse in Toronto. It was an intimate gathering of only 80ppl but it felt very over-the-top because of the first class service we received from L-eat. Since I wanted to take some of stress off the bride, I made it my duty to liaise with the event planner & catering staff to make sure everything ran smoothly for the Mr. & Mrs. Our friends & family couldn't stop raving about the food, everything tasted amazing and presented with such style! My favourite was the pistachio-crusted halibut, delicious! My sincere thanks to Candice at L-eat who was right there every step of the way during the event making sure Carly could truly enjoy her big day. For a work function, I had the pleasure of trying the goods of L-Eat Catering.I was impressed!Presentation of sandwiches was fab. At my workplace, we seem to always have veal sandwiches and they're just there.The sandwiches were quite delicious.There was A LOT to choose from, however ...Being on a Lifestyle Journey Change, I couldn't try all that was in front of me, but I picked the egg salad wrap (whole wheat) and a grilled turkey-goat cheese-grilled red pepper-spinach-pesto sandwich (multigrain baguette).I don't throw that many parties, but if I did, I would def cater from these people.A solid 4 star.
