My boy and I have been going to Stephen’s classes for a few months now. Stephen is great with the kids and gets them to focus well and teaches them so much. Stephen ran a Kung Fu/Anti-Bullying session for 1st Harwood Guides tonight - and it was a brilliant success.....the group of Guides (aged 10-14) said:

My son is 4, a live wire and not yet at school. I thought he might struggle to pay attention in class but Stephen has a magic touch. He is patient and engages well with each child. My son has come on leaps and bounds with discipline and respect. I also feel confident that should he be in a situation he is uncomfortable with, he would be able to resolve it confidently. What do you love most about your job?
I love seeing the my students become the person they have always wanted to be. When a timid child becomes the loudest in the class. When the shyest students overcome a fear that has held them back, and is now auditioning for the main role in their school play, or making speeches to a group at work. I love hearing what my students have been up to and giving them rewards in our classes for things they have done outside of our school. I love seeing the passion that is develop learning martial arts, and then seeing then really develop their skill. My job is simply the best job you could have.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Quite simply martial arts. I enjoy Kung Fu so much that when the school I train at asked me to help out in a few classes I got the bug. I then wanted to run my own classes, timing was on my side as the school was running out a franchise program at the time and I was the first to jump for it.
Why should our clients choose you?
There is lots of reasons why that we could list, but simply we are passionate about teaching, we are run by a big organisation with over 30 years martial arts experience and teaching, the only one in England to be backed by the Confucius institute. We care for what we teach. We teach discipline, respect and understanding rather than just kicking and hitting pads. We reward the children for good behaviour and achievements. Quite simply we care in what we do, and for all of our students.
