Karl was very professional, helpful and always on hand to help with anything I needed on the lead up to the wedding. You must have these guys! Karl was fantastic from the very start. I first met him at park farm wedding fair and sorted the perfect package we were after for our day, from mics for speeches and day time music to confetti cannons, love letters and full DJ set up. Karl Is Very professional, he came and visited us at where we were having our marquee and we ran through any questions we had and he was so easy to chat to. I do not know how he managed it but he kept such a variety of people happy with different eras of music and the night just flowed. We danced the night away until 1am and just had the best night! We got married on 31st August 2018. I had met Karl and the team at a wedding fayre. They had impressed me a lot so I hired them. They are great guys and they played guitar brilliantly. They played loads of songs I’d asked for. Elvis. Beauty and the beast as well as loads of other songs. It was a great having them whilst we had our reception drinks and ate our wedding breakfast. Loads of friends and family commented how great they were. We then had the magician. We were running a bit late he didn’t mind. He wowed the guests with his magic. I love magic and my guests loved it too. He astounded several guests with how good he was. Having the guitarists and magician added an extra dimension to our day and it was definitely money well spent. The biggest moan with weddings is that people get bored between the meal and the evening. Our guests were so entertained the whole day they didn’t have chance to get bored. We hired Karl of KSD events to set up his disco at Wymondham Market Cross on Wymondham Vintage Day 9 Sept 2018. His brief was to play songs from 1920s to 1980s to create the right atmosphere at our event. He was absoutely spot on with his choices playing songs from each decade and moving through the years as the day went on.. He created exactly the right ambiance and accommodated all our requests for making announcements and playing music so a flash mob could dance. It was wonderful. Booked Karl for 50th birthday and 10th Wedding anniversary celebrations.

Karl was very good and made the celebrations go really easily. Music was very much left to Karl with few specific requests and a reenactment of our first dance. Karl gauged the evening and music really well and we had a lot of positive comments about the music.

We hired Karl and Freeman Street to play at our wedding, at our home, last weekend. From the first enquiry up to the day itself communication was excellent, and Karl made sure he knew where and when everything needed to be set up. Karl wasn't there for the actual gig but Gary doubled as DJ and band member. They were superb! The dance floor was never empty from the time they started right through to the end when it was packed! **Highly recommend Karl and his team!!! Great value for money, great entertainment, great communication and just overall a great journey from start to finish. They made our night. Karl and his team came to a large house we had hired for the weekend. 28 people aged from 19 to 60. They entertained everyone!! We hired Karl and his team for our wedding in June. Karl took the time to visit us twice before our big day to ensure he had all of our preferences and everything was set up perfectly. We had the acoustic set after our ceremony which provided a lovely setting for drinks and photos.

The team had set up the wireless microphones for our speeches and played quiet background music during the wedding breakfast. This was great!

Then onto the disco in the evening, which is the best disco we’ve ever been too, and similar feedback was given by a large number of guests. Karl had previously taken time to go through songs we had sent through, but also took requests and had a great feel for the party dynamic - playing brilliant songs we hadn’t originally thought of. It was so nice to be able to trust them to do their thing! Really got everyone going from the off and the dance floor was full all night. They also provided the uplighters, which brought the marquee to life after sundown.

I'm a close up magician and I work with a lot of DJs. Karl at KSD is amazing. His set up is highly professional looking with the best lighting system I've seen. He often uplights the walls of the venue too which looks amazing. Think TV award ceremony-type look ;that's the effect he achieves.
