Kristy Dooley is an amazing photographer who will help you capture those extra special moments you never want to forget. She is extremely professional and will go the extra mile to get the perfect picture. She connects with her subjects and it clearly shows in her work. While taking senior photos for us, she went on a hike and even dipped her toes in the cold waters of Lake Champlain to get it just right. Kristy has been doing our family photos for 3 years now. We have 2 children that are autistic and can be hard to photograph. Kristy is very patient and really makes an effort to connect with everyone. She takes the time to capture great photos of everyone when and where they are comfortable. She suggests locations based on time of year that set a nice backdrop. Pictures always turn out great and are available to us very quick. We worked with Kristy for an extended family shoot and couldn't be happier with the decision! Throughout the planning process she was helpful, patient, transparent, and consultative. The day of the shoot she was promptly on time (even though we were not!) and made everyone feel super comfortable right away. She got a very grumpy baby to smile over and over again and kindly got a couple extra special shots we hadn't expected. This experience could have been scary, bringing a 1 year old, outside, in April, to take pictures, are we crazy? Working with Kristy was a dream. I started working with Kristy when my son was six months old and have worked with her each year since. At six months and 1 he wasn’t camera shy, but at 2 and 3 Kristy had her work cut out for her. Despite my son’s hesitation she was able to capture images that I love and will forever cherish. Kristy made our newborn photos so comfortable and easy - she came to our home, made use feel at ease, and was so patient with us the whole time (our newborn needing to eat, trying to get him to sleep, and our puppy being overly excited to see a visitor). Kristy is a real pro. Her photos are beautiful, and her turn around time is incredibly fast. Our young family has been lucky enough to have several sessions with Kristy over the years, including an anniversary session for my parents and a newborn session for my daughter.
