About

I am not your regular therapist, nutritionist, consultant, healer or life-coach. Rather, I’m a mentor-facilitator for individual, community, and cultural repair, decolonization and liberation.

I help people (and communities), like you, find well being, connection and belonging in an often confusing and complicated world.

I highly recommend doing myth mending sessions with Krista Arias when you are either up against something for which there seems to be no answers or when you've been struggling with an issue that you just can't get yourself to 'do the work' to resolve. Her myth mending process bypasses your logical mind, excuses and resistance so that you can finally release the energy around 'the thing' that is keeping you stuck, unclear and feeling paralyzed to change. There are so many counselors, healers, therapists, lifestyle gurus and professional advice-givers out there that it's easy to feel overwhelmed by all the choices. As a mother of three, I've spent who knows how much time and money looking for effective support for my family's health, only to find superficial, time consuming programs that may produce short-lived results (that require constant re-upping to maintain any effectiveness), but never really get to the heart of what we need.

Nothing I've tried has come close to the kind of immediate, deep affect that working with Krista has provided. Her methods are so gentle and intuitive that it's hard to believe the powerful results. Within a week of our first hour-long session, my energy and sense of well-being were raised dramatically. I felt clearer and more confident in my body's ability to heal and was amazed when the results started reaching beyond the original issue for which I had sought her out.

Five years later, I don't hesitate to turn to Krista first for all of my and my family's health questions, from nutrition to mental/emotional and relationship dilemmas. Her compassionate manner and truly holistic approach have given me the support I've needed to overcome blocks and reach my goals, without the confusing and often guilt-inducing yo-yo effect I've experienced with other practitioners. She understands that our lives aren't cookie-cutter and our issues aren't compartmentalized, and so is able to invest in the whole client and get to the actual root of a problem, instead of just temporarily easing the symptoms.

If you've tried all the healthy living fads, diet programs, all the different therapies, alternative and conventional, and are still feeling stuck, please set up an appointment with Krista, and get ready for a breakthrough!

Q&As

I love helping people discover the healer within and supporting that healer to lead the way through and forward.

When I was pregnant with my first child, Felix Kalypso Arias, I was catapulted into a call to understand and work with birth. I embraced traditional foods in 2006, Permaculture in 2010 and since then, my little family's little urban farm, Tierra Soul, has blossomed into part of a cultural movement and new social paradigm of sustainability and eco design.

My work with birth and mothering, with food, with embracing death and all forms of cultural creativity have all come together there. This work allows me be together with my family and to study heart centered marketing and sacred economics, gaining access to financial freedom and security.

My philosophy is holistic and this allows me to traverse many common pitfalls in therapeutic and coaching practice. This means I am able to work with stubborn emotional issues with a lot of success. I am also able to work with difficult nutritional issues using psycho-emotional tools.
