Rented a karaoke machine for a huge party and it was a smash hit! Karl dropped it off at my apartment, showed me how to work the machine, and loaded a bunch of extra songs into the computer program based on my suggestions (G 'N R, of course). SAVIOR! Karl totally came to my rescue this past weekend. I was running a karaoke/movieoke event for work when I ran into a small snafu. I had someone book the space for me and when I was checking some last minute details I realized.. SHOOOOOTTTT. The event was on Saturday instead of my planned/advertised Friday! I had been told by many companies that weekly rentals were better but Saturdays were near impossible. Doh! So after a couple hours of changing dates and catering orders, etc. I set to the task of trying to figure out the karaoke situation. The vendor that I had booked, despite 4 phone calls, never got back to me. It was now Wednesday and the event was supposed to happen in 3 days. After many phone calls and Googling up the wazoo.. Superpages led me to KP Productions. Sending a pleading e-mail, Karl called me within the hour! Saturday cool? Done and done. The event went over VERY well. The machine is compact, easy to move (has well), and even easier to operate. Deejay T the D came out in full force. The sound is crazy good AND his selection of music is AMAZING. Thousands of songs and tons of recent stuff. I'm talking music from 2007! The only company that boasted recent hits (some catalog PDF files that I was sent were dated 2002). Karl is based outside of Boston, but comes into the greater Boston area all the time. I wouldn't hesitate to use his service again! He has a few karaoke machines for rental so he told me it's never really been an issue with booking one. He also DJs for weddings and special events. Thank you times a million, Karl!
