I really appreciate this business. I called extra last minute. I need alterations for my granddaughters performance, which is tomorrow. I called a few other cleaners and no one was willing to do this last minute job. He waited for us to get to him. I took 2 dresses there for alterations. One just needed a seam that ripped to be sewn back together. Super simple. The other one needed to be taken in 2 sizes. I picked up the dresses and the one that needed to be taken in was still too big. I took it back and they said they would re-do it no questions asked. 100% guarantee. Super pleased with my experience here. Needed a last minute suit alteration and it took only one day to get the pants hemmed and the jacket sleeves shortened, it was well done and the suit looks great now. I thought I would be worried for days that my alterations wouldn't be done in time, but it wound up getting done way faster than I expected. Couldn't be happier! This is the second dress I had altered by Mike. The first one was just shortened. This second one, I was so nervous because I brought it to him just this Monday 7-8-19 and amazingly, he was able to hem it and do alterations by the shoulders and torso area and finish it today 7-9-19! I was at Del Amo Fashion Center when I found a dress and I needed it hemmed for a wedding the next day. I called Koo's and they told me I could come in. It was about 530, I dropped it off around 6 and was able to pick it up by 7pm. All of their staff was really sweet and the dress was hemmed perfectly. I am so thankful for them! I needed a batch of t-shirts shortened so I went to Koos hoping they could help. Not only did Jerry help, he did an awesome job! He genuinely cares about his customers and the quality of his alterations and worked on my t-shirts with the same care and attention to detail as if they were designer gowns! I love the material they use for alterations. They don't use cheap thread on your clothing, good strong quality material. I have had several garments altered here . I'm just going to return because my pants were still too long after getting hemmed. However, they do have excellent customer service. They work with you, and gets things done very professionally.EDIT: I called about an issue of my pants being too long after being hemmed. I urgently needed pants hemmed on a Saturday evening before a last-minute interview and luckily this place is was there to help. Apparently they have same-day alterations mon-sat and are even open on Sunday so they really saved me. The owner and the tailor, Margarita (bless her), were kind enough to wait for me to come in even though it was late and my pants were hemmed perfectly in less than 20 min! This is my favorite cleaners. I've gone to plenty of cleaners all over LA and delt with people who run cleaners and don't care anything about the customer and just want your money. But not here. I've experienced nothing but great customer service and kind professional people at KOOs. Hi so I went to Koos Nearest Cleaners, laundry and alterations and they had really friendly service! The place is very clean . I have been going here for a long time now for my laundry and dry cleaning. My dry cleaning is always given to me on the day that it has been promised to me, which is great. I have been to places where my dry clean was ready on the day that it was promised to me, and it have to spend another day to come pick it out in my busy life.
