The sushi was surprisingly excellent! It has been hard to find good sushi nearby, so we are glad we found a local spot. The food was fresh and had good flavors. The only thing that could be improved is the flexibility or ability to create your own roll. We asked to substitute sweet potato for crab on the california roll and they said it couldn't be done, even though there was a sweet potato roll. I'm from up North NYC area. I love Sushi and this place is the freshest best Sushi place hands down I've ever had. Food is definitely worth the wait. It's not fast food people.

The people are nice. It’s family run so that’s probably why they can be a little under staffed in a rush. The food is good and it’s nice having a healthy food option in Chapin.

I’ve heard and seen pretty mixed impressions and reviews about this relatively new restaurant in Chapin. After finally deciding to give it a try with me and my girlfriend, I was pretty satisfied. The Summer and Master Koi signature rolls were surprisingly delicious and visually enticing. The Kung Pao Chinese dish was decent, just like your traditional Chinese entree. Despite the lack of servers, ours was friendly and tentative to us and all the other tables she had to cover. Which isn’t a shocker, since they had a hiring sign out. Luckily we went shortly after it opened for dinner hours, but I could imagine it’d be pretty hectic later in the night or during lunchtime; given they’re short staffed and some people might not be as understanding. My wife and I visited a few nights ago and tonight we were joined by other members of our family. We had dishes ranging from chicken wrap, mongolian beef, sashimi , sushi rolls, steamed dumplings, to kung pao chicken and noodle dishes. Family members are accustomed to eating a variety of foods and all agreed that the food was excellent commenting in particular on the freshness and high quality of the fish.
