Situated next to one of the Serpentine Galleries The Magazine is a posh restaurant catering for all dietary requirements. Although do check the menu as I have seen the vegan sign next to a ham and eggs on breakfast menu - I asked the waitresses what was vegan about the ham and eggs she said she didn't know (or care) . The lunch menu can be a little limited and portion sizes aren't big. So if you are looking for a filling good value meal avoid here. The restaurant is flat so disabled access is very good and toilets are easy access. Lovely cakes and coffee here if you can get a seat outside. Booking is highly recommended. More...

Lovely place and very friendly and helpful staff. Love it both for a coffee or a full lunch. Comfy coaches for drinks only. The kitchen is playful and correct but don't expect anything exceptional. Terrace on the front and in the back. Dogs very welcome too. More...

Nice restaurant. Excellent food - Italian. Milanese made of chicken (not Veal, as Viennese schnitzel would need), but excellently executed. The pasta was also good, if a little humble. Tiramisu was divine. The espresso was so so. Location is great and the architecture worth seeing. More...

We came here for our anniversary, the weather was hot and sunny so it was perfect. Stunning location. They gave us extra drinks on the house because of the celebration! The food was incredible. Contemporary European dishes. All the food is sourced locally. Food is not the cheapest around but then it is cuisine art so that is what you are paying for. Thankyou! More...

The architecture and location are gorgeous! We were well cared for, by the staff. The food was great; my only fault was the portion size. . I feel if you are spending £20 on a lamb dinner, there should be some sort of accompaniment! We had to devour cake after, just to feel replete! More...

Myself and a colleague came here for an afternoon working drink. Despite a private function about to start, one waiter, Aurel, went out of his way to accomodate us and made us feel EXTREMELY comfortable. Aurel was hilarious and a true host, he really made our afternoon and we had an excellent time! More...

Can get crowded on the weekend so best to book ahead if you want to dine. If you only want a coffee and cake there is a comfortable couch area that usually has a space.

Wintry Saturday eve -- went in for a hot chocolate but it was full of the chattering so I asked if I could sit outside -- darkish and cold, but I was well wrapped up. The very helpful servers said no but I could have a take-away as they were only serving inside now. Fair enough -- I prefer china to plastic but no point moaning.

A pleasant conversation with the young lady behind the counter -- about art mainly. Took my warm plastic container & sat beneath the magnificent curved roof & beyond the chatter, stretched out, took some photos of car lights on the rim of the roof -- Starship Enterprise against the almost dark sky -- & then I sipped.... the most magnificent hot chocolate! One of those perfect, advert-style moments. A smile, a nod, a satisfied look. Paradise!

At £3-50 it was probably what you would pay in S/Bs for an inferior product in unpleasant surroundings. Next time I'll go when it's quieter and try the food....or maybe just sit outside again & repeat the experience.

Fabulous food in a building designed by Zaha Hadid set in one of the most beautifully designed modern gardens in London (it is by the very talented Arabella Lennox Boyd). Dogs are welcome at the terrace tables, which also have fast wifi.

The Magazine regularly run pop ups, which are worth looking into.

Fantastic service today, quiet and calm too. Great place to sit, eat, drink and relax. Banana loaf was a bit dry and lemon cake wasn't that zesty but overall was great and will definitely return.
