The food was exceptional. Employees raved - "Hands down. Best picnic food EVER!" "I can't pick a favorite menu item. They were ALL so good!" Let me first state that we were not easy customers. We had a specific vision for our party, and wanted an elevated level of service. My wife and I waffled on some decisions (a couple of times), and KJ always took it in stride. We also curated our menu sight-unseen, without tasting anything. That being said, we have never been so satisfied with a caterer. From the amazing response time through email, to the phenomenal service, to THE FOOD! The catering team was amazing about making sure that the food was rotated out regularly in a stunning display, making sure it always was fresh. They notified us as soon as beverages were running low and even offered to run and get more (yes, really!). After nearly seven months after our party, we are still getting comments on the food. We used KjCatering for our daughter’s Graduation Party and we were SO glad that we did. Their food was delicious, they were a delight to work with, and they delivered everything they promised and more. Our server, Dani, was AMAZING!!! She was the glue that held the party together. We had KJ Catering cater our wedding in Ludington, MI. They did a fantastic job. We had a few months of back and forth emailing trying to figure out exactly what we wanted for our big day - as far as food and sticking to our budget. Our wedding day food turned out amazing! I can't tell you how many people told us it was the best wedding food they've ever had. Also, KJ Catering made my dreams of having a Family Style dinner work just how I wanted! Kevin just catered our company picnic last weekend. First of all he was great to work with... it was kind of one stop shopping. .. as he organized the tent, tables and chairs, as well as the photo booth and even brought along a speaker for some music. KJ Catering catered our daughters wedding reception June 23 it was a glorious summer night with 180 people in our backyard. Had I known before I contacted him I would have used many of his contacts for various things such as linens, glasses, etc.. He did an outstanding job on the food and the pace that the guest went through the buffet line. We are still hearing compliments on the food and the night over all. You will not run out of food and to feed 180 people in 15-20 minutes makes your guest happy! He came through on his promise. KJ Catering just catered our wedding on May 29th and the food was spectacular! We have gotten too many compliments to even keep track of regarding the food. Kevin also did a great job with the food presentation which fit our theme perfectly. Before our wedding we had a meeting with him and Mike Warrelman where they made us feel confident and comfortable that we need not worry about anything regarding the food on the big day. Kevin catered our son's graduation party in early June and he did a great job. The food was awesome. We had boneless chicken wings with a variety of sauces (which Kevin deep fried on site so they were always fresh, amazing! ). We went to a food tasting that Chef Kevin held in Grand Rapids. We took one bite, and knew that we had to have him cater our wedding. Not only that, but, I wanted to incorporate some Mexican flavors into the food, and he immediately suggested options for us. Our guests are still raving about the food and wishing they had eaten just a little bit more of everything! We could not be happier with the service, the quality of the food, and the presentation. The cocktail hour was set up beautifully, and Chef Kevin worked with us to give our guests a memorable dinner experience. I first inquired with Kevin back in January to cater our wedding and the original tasting was too good not to book. We chose the brisket and smoked chicken; they were both mouth watering delicious!! KJ Catering also has amazing cheesy potatoes. I don't think you could go wrong with anything on the menu!

I had KJ Catering cater my wedding last weekend in Ludington MI and lets just say wow! I'm still overwhelmed by how perfect it was. My husband and I have received so many compliments on the food and the presentation of the food. We wanted a brunch theme wedding & gave Chef Kevin our ideas, he went above & beyond! He did a custom omelet bar, salmon spread, and a beef brisket, that people raved about and even made peppered bacon for our bloody mary bar. Anything we wanted, he was able to do! I highly recommend Chef Kevin and his whole crew (that was extremely helpful, even with things they weren't responsible for). Chef Kevin and his wonderful staff just catered our Wedding and we can’t say enough good things about KJ Catering!
