I took my mom here on Saturday, and it was very fun, and delicious. We had the Shiro Ramen and gyoza appetizer. The Gyoza was perfectly cooked and the Ramen was very good. The broth was hearty and very flavorful. The atmosphere was really nice and what I expect to be fairly traditional Japanese. I would recommend this place for a dinner or lunch date anytime. More...

Pretty good ramen and a nice restaurant to eat at. My sister took my mom and I here for a reunion lunch seeing as we hadn't seen each other in a couple of years. I was so happy this is the place she chose! Out of all the dishes on the menu, I definitely recommend the garlic tonkotsu or anything with the pork broth. It's delicious. I wasn't a fan of the pork itself, but everything else in the soup was great. With that said, I've come back again after moving here, and I never regret my experience. More...

The ramen is delicious here, my son is in love with their ramen. We were handled well, despite that tonight's wait was long. I luckily brought good company, and even though we were hungry the atmosphere was pleasant, and the owner and his very attentive wait staff made us feel appreciated and loved. We were seated near the kitchen, and we got to watch the chef working hard to break up his ticket back log. It was a learning experience for my son to find out how restaurants work, and I enjoyed explaining it to him. I appreciated the chef who kept himself composed and his language clean, he was clearly frustrated but he was professional. The owner was hospitable and even brought us a couple of drinks during our wait. Every experience we have here is always memorable, and I'm glad to see they are still doing well. The food was good. Though I'll say it's not my normal flavor so personally I wasn't thrilled about it. However that doesn't make the meal any less tasty for those who enjoy that taste. Spot on place for some good Japanese noodles! Service was good for lunch here and my party was very happy with the food that was brought. Noodles were great and the spicy broth at regular had a nice kick to it while being very flavorful. The Takoyaki was really good too, presented nicely and not boiling hot inside to suprise burn your mouth, which is a concern when you eat Takoyaki. Relaxing atmosphere for lunch, well priced for what we ordered. Would come back for noodles again!PS. While I didn't order it, they also advertised a $20 Whiskey Flight with some pretty good Japanese Whiskey. Looked very tempting, certainly something I will try when I'm wanting to drink a little! The Food is good, always enough to take some home with. Great ambiance. Parking there can be tricky as it is downtown. Close to Capital Lake for a nice walk after dinner.
