Within minutes of viewing Polhawn Fort ahead of our big day, myself and my then fiancé knew it was the perfect venue for us, and now that the dust has settled we can safely say booking the Fort for our Wedding Day was the best decision we could have made! Situated on a cliffside with stunning views out to sea, the Fort has perfect gardens and grounds, a private beach to snap those all-important photographs, and an interior littered with history including several bedrooms and a well-stocked kitchen area which allowed us to spend our Wedding all in one place with our friends and families. For couples looking to make their big day their own and avoid an identikit wedding this is the venue for you. We were completely in control of every small detail from booking our own caterers to deciding how we wanted to decorate the tables. Nevertheless, the Fort provide fantastic support – recommending a whole host of local suppliers and offering assistance on the day. It turned out to be a perfect day for us in a perfect location, and we are thankful that we got to spend our Wedding Day with our loved ones in a such a wonderful venue. The Fort is truly unique. We had our wedding at Polhawn in March 2019 and everything was amazing! I visited twice before the big day and always felt welcome. They answered a never ending stream of questions through email from me and were always very helpful. The venue itself is beautiful and we got so many compliments from guests. We had hired the fort from Monday though Friday, so felt like we could truly settle in and relax there. I liked that our guests had somewhere to come and spend time, even if they weren’t staying there. It also helped that we had amazing weather - it was sunny the whole time! I lost track of the number of times someone told me it was the most beautiful wedding venue they’d ever been to. Overall we had an amazing time, and I am sure we will be back! More...

I was lucky enough to get married here in the 6th of March 2019. We stayed here from Monday to the Friday and I am blown away by my stay. I can not imagine a better place to get married at and the views are breathtaking. The rooms are spectacular, the beds are comfy and the fireplace just made the trip. The guests were absolutely blown away by the views from the fort. If you are thinking of a place to get married I believe this to be one of the top ten In country easily. No words will ever be able to thank you. Charlotte went ubove and beyond and exceeded our expectations, we are so pleased with our wedding video, nothing was to much for her. We have moments of our film we didn't see and its so lovely to look back and remanise our day. Charlotte is so friendly and makes you and your guests feel very comfortable. Well what can I say about Polhawn Fort that hasn’t already been said? We got married here on 12/2/19 and had the best day of our lives. The Fort is just absolutely stunning; we knew we would get married here the moment we arrived back in May 2018 for our first ever visit. We stood on the drawbridge on one of the hottest days of the year and knew instantly that we should cancel all of our other venue appointments! From start to finish the process was so simple and flawless. We were shown around on that day in May and fell in love. We were given available dates and prices and walked away that same day with our wedding provisionally booked. From then on contact with the staff was simple, we were kept updated about things we needed to know and given advice on places that visiting friends and family could stay and eat. On the day itself there was someone available to help us set up and turn around the venue for the ceremony and then the meal. We were given brilliant advice; even down to when I should walk down the aisle to give the photographer the best shot! Our hearts definitely belong in Polhawn Fort. We had the most beautiful few days there and have memories that will last a life time. Our only sadness is that we won’t be able to visit anymore now that it’s all over! We got married at the Fort nearly three weeks ago and we still haven’t come back down to Earth. From start to finish the team helped make it absolutely amazing. As soon as we saw the Fort we knew it was perfect for us. All of our guests had to travel (some as far as Dubai!) but instantly understood why we had chosen such a beautiful and unique place. I am over the moon that we booked Charlotte to film our wedding this Saturday, we included the drone in our package and can’t wait to see everything you’ve captured! Charlotte is friendly, warm, and fitted in with my bridal party beautifully the morning of the wedding, I barely knew she was there! We had Charlotte do our videographer, I was finding it hard to find someone I was happy with, and could feel myself getting stressed with it. Luckily being in my job as a hairdresser one of my lovely clients had recommended her and we were blown away with her work. She truly is incredible at what she does, and such a lovely person with it, and makes you feel so relaxed, that I even recommended one of my clients before I got married who also was so pleased after I recommended her. Charlotte was the videographer for our wedding in 2017, and we were so impressed with everything from start to finish. She is incredibly friendly and helpful, and she kindly came to meet us at our venue in advance so that she really understood what we wanted for our special day. She is always very good and prompt at communicating, which really helps makes things easier in terms of planning. On the wedding day itself she captured every important moment, yet we didnt know she was there because she was so discreet. Thank you for capturing every moment of our day perfectly. From the off set we knew Charlotte was the perfect person to film our wedding day. Charlotte is very professional and on the day we forgot she was even filming us showing how well she blends in. The video exceeded all of our expectations and we cannot stop watching it. Everytime we press play we feel as though we are reliving the day and it's wonderful to see all of the moments we missed on video as the day goes so fast! We can't thank Charlotte and Adam enough for all they did for us for our wedding in April. Nothing was too much trouble and they went along with all our plans despite us trying to cram an awful lot into one day! ! We felt so privileged to have two views of the majority of the day, and the footage from the drone was amazing-definitely worth having. We were just so glad the wind wasn't any stronger on the day!

We were so thrilled with the DVD when we first watched it - it captures our day perfectly, and to somehow cut all those hours worth of footage down to just over half an hour, without missing a moment, is just amazing. The addition of the second disc with the ceremony, speeches and first dance in full is brilliant - it really does leave nothing missing; and the stills taken from the video are beautiful too.

Charlotte stayed smiley and bubbly till the very end of our wedding day and fitted in like a welcome guest. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to anyone - what more can we say, thank you so so much ☺️ Mr and Mrs Bunkum xxx More...

We have just watched our wedding video... again. We can't stop playing it actually.
In the wedding planning process we didn't know if we should hire a videographer. We had a budget and had reached it. And nearly didn't hire anyone. But we are so glad we did and we couldn't have chosen a better videographer!
We also paid a little extra for the drone and we are so glad we did because it really made the film extra special.
We did a lot of research into wedding videographers and found Charlotte Dart to be the best value for money and the quality and professionalism superb.
A definite recommend to any bride/groom.

We booked Charlotte after a glowing review from friends of ours that had booked her to film their wedding video - after they told us we HAD to book her, they shared their wedding video with us and after lots of tears and laughter - we knew we had to book her too!

We absolutely loved having Charlotte as our wedding photographer! She is so sweet, enthusiastic and fun to get along with, and clearly takes a lot of pride and enjoyment out of what she does.

Charlotte knew our venue (Polhawn Fort) inside out, and provided the perfect balance between disappearing into the background and directing us for certain shots that she knew we'd love to have.
