My sure and I had a great time at the bar at Kitchen 919. We went on a Wednesday evening late and that bar wasn't very crowded so we had a nice leisurely time to drink our drinks and talk. My husband and I decided to go out on a much needed date this evening without our three children. Last night we decided to go to Kitchen 919 after reviewing their menu and made a reservation. We received a 20% off the entire meal coupon and $2 off appetizers with our reservation confirmation. We had the best experience we could have asked for. Our server, Tom, was personable and professional. He took his time to explain the menu and gave some recommendations. My drink was always full, dishes/cutlery were cleared/replaced promptly, and the service overall was outstanding. My husband and I decided to try several things since we had never been before. We had the fried green tomatoes, shrimp & grits, crab cake, and wedge salad as appetizers. We had the center cut tenderloin as our main course. For dessert, we had the lemon blueberry cheesecake and a French press coffee. The meal was outstanding. The manager visited our table as well as one of the owners, Deron Little, several times throughout the meal to ensure we were satisfied. I have not had a better experience in or around Knoxville. I would like to personally thank our server Tom, the manager, one of the owners/chef Deron Little, and the rest of the staff at Kitchen 919 for a perfect evening. With a party of four we visited Kitchen 919 this evening. A truly wonderful experience. We ordered the lamb chops, tenderloin and prime rib. Kitchen 919 is an upscale, fine-dining establishment. It occupies a space which previously housed The Orangery in Homberg Place, just off Kingston Pike in the Bearden district of Knoxville.
