I first came across kiss fitness using Google last November and have since been attending the kettlebells course and Saturday bootcamps, as well as having fantastic weekly PT sessions. I have so enjoyed seeing sich an improvement in my fitness and weight loss with great support from the kids fitness team! Thank you Dan and Catherine, here's to more fitness fun over the summer! I have been training with Dan for approximately 16 months now. I train twice a week for an hour each time. My own needs are core strength and mobility as well as weight loss and general maintenance of my body. I can feel and notice huge positive differences since the beginning of my training.
Dan comes to each session with his own equipment and a well thought out plan which is different and varied each time. Dan monitors my performance, progress, strengths and weaknesses, he weighs me weekly and keeps a record and graph of my weight and body fat. He encourages me to eat well and is happy to discuss any dietary questions I may have.
Dan prepares an individual daily training programme online for me to use each day. This is easily accessible through Trainerize.
If we haven't done a certain routine or exercise for a while I will ask Dan about it, usually his response is that he doesn't think it is the best use of my time and he has replaced that particular routine with another which is more beneficial to me.
Dan is very fair, he listens to my concerns and advises me accordingly. He tough when he needs to be though and believe me I need that!
Kiss Fitness as a company work hard to look after their clients. The monthly newsletter is always full of different, interesting and helpful articles to keep their clients motivated and focused on their goal. The monthly recipe is always yummy and I like the fact that they try the recipe themselves first.

I can highly recommend Dan and Kiss Fitness. I have attended their Bootcamp sessions and found Dan to be very professional and well organised. These sessions are fun and full on - very varied and working on different areas of fitness. A really enjoyable hour. I have also used Dan as a Personal Trainer. He works very hard to help you reach your goals. Again sessions are always varied and different equipment is available to use. Dan is also able to tailor make a programme for you to continue at home - using the equipment that you have available to use. You are able to keep in contact with Dan via the app and he is able to monitor your progress and always answers any queries that you may have. Dan is very professional, good humoured and motivating....even training in the rain is fun!! I am still able to use the app to join in with Kiss Fitness monthly challenges, which I love. After decades of yoyo dieting and failed fitness regimes I have been working with Dan and Nikki at Kiss Fitness since January 2012. With their help I have made huge changes to my body in terms of weight and fitness and made a real difference to my life.

Unfortunately, last year I had 2 sprained ankles and a broken ankle, all of which took their toll on my workout schedule, effectively putting me out of action for the best part of 6 months of the year. My will power dropped, I really missed the exercise and my weight rose yet again.

So what’s changed this year? At Christmas I bought myself a few extra training sessions to give myself a good start to the New Year. I knew that if I didn’t make a change then, it would never happen. I started training with Dan once a week on a 1-1 basis and continued to do 3- 4 group exercise classes a week. We set achievable goals on a short and long term basis and Dan set about getting me fit once again and losing the excess weight. The first challenge was to strengthen the ankle and then work on the overall fitness.

So what has this Personal training done for me…
• Between January and July I lost 10kg and 9% body fat
• I have learnt to love exercise
• I have made “me time” a priority
• My self esteem and confidence has risen considerably
• My stress levels have dropped
• I feel good!
As for the group exercise sessions…
• I have made some great friends
• I have so much fun with some truly lovely people with varying degrees of craziness!!
• I know I will have a different well structured full body workout at each session
• As a group we encourage each other
• A regular schedule creates great habits
• I am always motivated to try my hardest

I know I will be reminded of this many a time but I have to say, Dan is right! For ages he has been telling me to stop dieting and just eat properly. Having spent 2 years ignoring him, in January 2015 I stopped “dieting”. I eat regularly, a varied diet and as “clean” as I can, I enjoy my food and do not deny myself treats. I exercise once a week with Dan, enjoy the group sessions and work out independently following the online training programme that Dan regularly updates for me. I live life to the full. My weight has followed a downward trend and stabilized. I may not have lost as much as some people on the classic diet regimes but the difference in my body is immense and having made a lifestyle change I am no longer living in fear of it all going back on.
Ok, I gained a few pounds on holiday but who doesn’t?! I kept moving and enjoyed all the local hospitality (for it would be rude not) to but I wore my bikini with pride because I worked hard to feel confident enough to do so.

Dan always plans my personal training sessions to work towards my goals. We either work out at my home, in my garden or at the local recreation ground and a regular diary commitment means no excuses. Every session is different and every session is motivating and challenging. I always feel the difference that the session has made and I always enjoy the buzz that working out gives me. I even like to feel the ”DOMS” the next day, pure evidence that I have worked hard and made a difference Sometimes Dan puts up with a lot of moaning from me, other times he shares my excitement if I have achieved my next goal. It is not unusual for me to swear at him if the session is particularly tough! We even had a bet one week on whether I would achieve a target and having smashed through it Dan publicly paid the penalty. I enjoyed watching those burpees Dan!!!

My goals are always moving because I have found I respond well to a challenge and a target. It’s no longer about the weight, it’s about my fitness and giving myself every chance in life. I want to still be enjoying Kiss fitness sessions for decades yet! And I have every intention of doing so!

Began my weight loss journey a year ago with kissfitness, I hadn't exercised in years and found them a very friendly and welcoming bunch. I chose Kiss Fitness to begin with because the initial consultation was so much more in-depth than any others I had experienced, I was really made to feel like I was in the hands of professionals who could help me achieve my goals. <br /><br />I have now been training with Dan from Kiss Fitness for just over 2 months and I am glad to say I have not been disappointed!! As someone who has never been<span id="moreReview513440" class="hide"> particularly fit or sporty I was worried about feeling a bit out of my depth, but Dan has always put me at ease and worked at the perfect level for me - just enough so I am always pushing myself but not so far that I feel I am not getting any enjoyment from the session. Every session is different so I never get bored and the best thing is there is no way of getting out of it!! Dan turns up whether I am feeling lazy or not, which is a great thing because 2 minutes into the session I feel energised and ready to go but I know that, left to my own devices, I would still be in bed no matter how much I had promised myself I would get up and do some exercise!! That is exactly why I gave Kiss Fitness 5 stars for value for money above, because when I think of all of the gym memberships that I paid for and didn't use, and all of the weird and wonderful exercise machines I bought to "change my life" I realise that it was all wasted money because I wasn't getting any results - this time I am seeing real results!<br /><br />I feel so much fitter and healthier - and I have lost just under 1.5 stone! Not to mention the great no-nonsense nutritional advice I have received which has helped immensely. Dan's sessions are always varied in level of difficulty with a wide and continually changing range of exercises. The classes are relaxed and friendly with no two sessions being the same which adds to the enjoyment of attending. My husband and I decided we have to get fit and have been working with Dan for just over 14 weeks. 20 years of not exercising had done it's damage. With lots of hard work, plenty of variety - being pushed to keep going and not giving up- we are getting good results. Fitter, healthier, positive... I have been working with Nikki for nearly a year now and my overall fitness has improved enormously. Our sessions are always extremely well planned with lots of variety (to stave off boredom! )and I find her approach to be methodical and extremely thorough. Nikki Squires at Kiss Fitness came to my house once a week over a period of about 3 months. During that time she helped me raise my fitness levels significantly She organised a program for me that was engaging, fun and challenging. She provided me with a full and thorough health assessment report at the beginning of the course and we worked out goals and targets for us to work towards. I have been training with Kiss Fitness since it started and I can honestly say I absolutely love it and look forward to the sessions every week. At 17, I'm their youngest customer and I go to their 2 Core sessions and 1 Circuits session a week. If I had time then I would go to more! Dan and Nikki have different training styles so between them, their services suit anyone and everyone. They also give a lot of praise and are always positive, which is what you need when you are working hard. Four weeks in and I'm hooked!! Bootcamp and boxercise are the two classes I have attended, and I am already 17 pounds lighter! The classes are varied and Dan and NIkki are on hand to offer encouragement and modification if needed. I never thought this time last year, when I was 2 and a half stone heavier and sitting around alot, that I would ever be loving exercise! With kiss fitness and a balanced diet I am now at my target weight and exercise 3-4 hours a week. I go to group exercise With kiss fitness, and do boxercise, circuits and bootcamp. I first started training with Dan in May 2013 following a decision to lose weight, tone up and increase my overall fitness level. I have two training sessions with Dan every week, each lasting an hour. <br />Before starting the personal training, Dan discussed my goals with me and prepared a tailor made programme for me to follow throughout my training and he regularly reviews this and monitors my<span id="moreReview462351" class="hide"> progress to keep me on track. <br />No one training session with Dan is the same and they vary from Boxercise to resistance training to HIIT training and much more which certainly helps to keep my interest and motivation level high. I never thought I would say this but I actually look forward to my training sessions every week! I have dropped 2 dress sizes, have so much more energy and have increased my fitness level significantly from where I started six months ago. Numerous friends and colleagues have commented on the change in my appearance over the past few months which have been a great confidence booster. <br />I am extremely grateful to Dan for his support, patience, good sense of humour, and his ability to keep me motivated over the last few months. Dan has the ability to push you to your limits in the training sessions (in a good way!) and although at times it is tough, you feel a real sense of achievement after each workout. <br />I would have no hesitations in recommending Dan to anyone out there looking to lose weight, tone up or simply looking to improve their fitness levels. Had 3 PT sessions which I won but carrying on once a month. They are affordable, cater for all sizes (I'm on the bigger size! ) and fun. Having spent many years using the gym and playing sports, the idea of attending fitness classes had never appealed. However, I'd heard great things about Kiss and after looking into what they had to offer and seeing how exceptionally well priced everything was, I couldn't not give it a go. I have been training with Kiss Fitness for a year, and during that time Nikki has changed my life. She has helped me shed more than 8 stones, with her creative, varied, fun, challenging and targeted personal training sessions. Nikki is a true professional, always arriving with a new programme of work for each session, yet she is ultra flexible depending on my health/tiredness at the time.
