Amy was great to work with! We decided quite a bit later than booking our other vendors that we wanted a videographer and I was worried about finding someone good so much later. Amy was super responsive and flexible in talking through what we wanted and she was great at the wedding. There was some specific stuff we wanted video of and she was great at communicating when there wasn't time. However, she ended up finding time later in the night and was great at telling us what might be the best use of her time and the most valuable footage to us. Outside of those moments, I barely noticed she was there as she was busy doing her work unobtrusively. She is super fast with her work and we got our highlight video less than two weeks later. I LOVE the highlight video. I have watched it 100 times already. It is beautiful and captured our day so well. We also recently got our full video and it was exactly what we wanted. Amy is great to work with and a great value for the price. I definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a videographer, especially someone looking for good quality but has a limited budget. We were so pleased that we chose Kismet Video Productions for our videographer for our wedding. Amy is genuinely a nice person, and it was apparent from the first meeting that she cares deeply about her profession. She was prompt and attentive during our wedding ceremony and reception...but, perhaps the best part was, we received a text from her about 10 days after our wedding telling us that the proof of our video was complete! She sent it promptly, and it was so exciting to be able to re-live our wedding ceremony and reception so soon after the actual day. She offers revisions to the wedding video, but we loved our so much and it was perfect just the way it was!

We were on the fence about getting a videographer for our wedding, but numerous friends of ours said the one regret they had about their wedding was not having a video of their special day. We are so happy that this is something we have to remember one of the best days of our life! We used Amy from Kismet Video Productions for our wedding this past August. We decided only two months before the wedding that we wanted a videographer and were lucky to book with Amy since she had a cancellation. From our initial inquiries, she was very prompt to respond via email and text message. After our first meeting, it was clear Amy was experienced and understood all of the nuances that come with shooting a wedding! She offered to come to our rehearsal, and provided valuable feedback and tips for getting through the ceremony smoothly. On the day of the wedding she arrived early and was able to set up her equipment unobtrusively in the back of the venue, while still being able to capture every moment of the ceremony. Amy stayed for the entirety of reception capturing all of the dancing to the very last song, and even captured footage of our bowling cocktail hour, which she normally doesn’t film. Post event, her production timing was very fast. We had a proof of the video within seven days and the final cut within two weeks. I booked Amy almost a year before my wedding date. A few months later my husband to be lost his job and our budget went way down. I had to call Amy and cancel. I found out about KVP through a friend who hired them for her wedding. I was floored by the quality of the professional video she had done! Hire her now!! Amy was the BEST (and least expensive!) vendor in our wedding. We didn’t have much left in our budget but really wanted a videographer – luckily Amy’s rates are incredibly reasonable! We knew we were going to hire her before we even met with her, and the fact that she is lovely in person was a bonus. Before the wedding she was so responsive to emails and answered all the questions we had, and she even came to the rehearsal to make sure she’d be set up in the best spots. Amy also did an amazing job of getting footage without being intrusive at all.

When we received the proof of our video, my husband and I were both initially nervous to watch it. Not that we didn’t think Amy did a fantastic job, but the wedding was so perfect in our minds that we didn’t want to see anything that disproved that. No one wants to see themselves look stupid dancing! But when we watched it, we spent the next hour and a half with huge smiles on our faces. She did such an incredible job that our memory of the wedding actually got even better after watching the video!

We got the final copies just days after we approved the proof and were just in awe of how professionally the video was done! She was even able to add a few iphone video clips we took during the night as “bonus features.” When we got our photos back my husband said, “Thank goodness we got the video or I would be really disappointed right now!” Our pictures turned out great, but with them alone we wouldn’t remember the little bits and pieces that Amy captured which made our wedding day so memorable.

Amy was a joy to work with, and thanks to her we have a fantastic video of our wedding. A lot of couples don’t think they need a videographer, but so much happens during the day and pictures just aren’t enough. If you’re on a budget, cut something out so you can hire her because you will regret not having this day documented! Thank you SO much Amy! You blew us away and we couldn’t be more grateful!!! Amy is one of a kind. I spent hours and days searching for the best videographer for my wedding. I wanted to have the same feeling I felt when I watched my parents wedding video. I found myself continuously watching Amy's demos on her website! I fell in love ! I made my now husband watch every single demo. There was absolutely no convincing needed. We just had to meet her!
Amy is wonderful. She has such energy and passion. She knew exactly what I wanted!!! She's professional and fun! She attended the rehearsal to make sure she knew her camera positions. She met everyone in our wedding and called them by their names;extremely personable.

There's no possible way I can say enough about Amy in a review! We would have been lost without her to say the very least! Look no further for your choice of videographer; because she is way more than that! She basically coordinated our rehearsal & thank goodness because our officiant was sort of clueless...Amy is very professional yet so personable! Amy was recommended to us by friends who used her for their wedding in 2013. From our first meeting I knew Amy was going to do a phenomenal job. She was attentive, energetic, and you could tell how truly passionate she is about her work. From our countless emails and phone calls leading up to the wedding she handled each as if it was her only wedding going on! My rehearsal would have been a complete cluster if she hadn't stepped in and handled the bridal party and I had completely forgot she would even be there! We were looking for someone that could be with us the entire day while at the same time was creative yet affordable. She was our first choice when I searched for wedding videographers. She offers a variety of packages to choose from. We went with her highest tier which is the platinum package and we still found it affordable because there was so much she includes for the price. Prior to our wedding, she frequently communicated with us. She is fast to respond to answer any questions we had for her. We did not ask her to come to our wedding rehearsal but she was there to see our wedding and reception venue and met the bridal party. She shoots video with 4k format so we knew it was going to be a high quality video. During the wedding day, she was on time to every location. Even though I didn’t have all my bridesmaids with me to get ready I felt at ease because Amy was so friendly and uplifting. I felt pretty being filmed by her even before I got my makeup on. After receiving our wedding proof, we were blown away. The picture was sharp, the color was vibrant, and the audio was clear. She also does a nice job framing the shot so the focus is on what is going on. It was a joy to see the short video commentaries & well-wishes of our loved ones. My absolute favorite part to see was our wedding montage. If you chose a package that doesn’t include this, please add this feature on. . My family and friends were amazed and asked who filmed it and people kept complimenting on how nicely it was done. They were even more pleased that one person shot and edited it. I am so happy that we have something to remind us of our wedding day. Photos are a great remembrance but there is something about capturing the sounds of laughter, seeing the tears, and watching the reaction of our family and friends that makes it more worthwhile.
