Staff could be friendlier. Small selection. UPDATE: In response to owners response.Yes, I did review nurseries in the area at the same time as my review after being prompted by Google based on all the places I have been. I am fully aware that you are not a garden /nursery shop. I stopped in a few weeks back to buy a bouquet or arrangement for a friend. The staff was in the back room making arrangements for a wedding. I looked at what was available in the cooler. Some of the arrangements had flowers that were starting to wilt however I did find a pretty one and selected it. When i went to pay I changed my mind and inquired about choosing my own flowers for a bouquet. The person seemed annoyed. I asked to peek around the corner to see what you had available. I was denied. I wanted a visual to make a bouquet. Anyhow, I settled on some flowers and it was made. I also purchased a wood tray with small clear bottles on it for a reasonable price. The point I am making is that friendliness goes a long way and it was not shown. I felt I was being rushed out and she did not want to be bothered with my inquiry. I complimented what you did have in the gift area. I made a purchase as I said but the fact remains that by not allowing me to see what you actually had available my choices were limited in my mind. Best of luck in your business but be mindful of how you interact with those who enjoy supporting small local business. Abate also sells fresh flowers and makes arrangements/ corsages etc. and is less than 10 minutes away on Mulberry Rd. I usually go there but decided to give you a try. I called from another state to get flowers delivered for a funeral service. They couldn’t have been nicer or more compassionate on the phone and helped me pick the perfect arrangement. I wanted a plant so it would last but they added more flowers for presentation. My sister in law sent me a photo and said they smelled amazing. I just wanted to post an update on my original review below. I was very surprised to hear my mother in law received replacement flowers from the Flower Barn to make it right. I appreciate the effort and feel they deserve a 2nd chance, it was much appreciated! I ordered flowers for my mother-in law’s 70th birthday and the flowers didn’t even last 6 days. I was told the roses started dropping after 3 days. I can buy fresh flowers from the grocery store doe much cheaper and they last a lot longer, sometimes even 2 weeks! Very disappointed! More...

I ordered flowers from a website that were supposed to be delivered from flower barn. The day of the funeral I showed up at the funeral home and no flowers. I was told the florist cancelled the order because they didn't have the flowers for the arrangement. No one from the flower shop csntacted either myself or the funeral home. My daughter who is going to school to be a nurse full time ,working full time ,with a 2 year old ordered me flowers yesterday from this establishment. yes it was a very cold day but they did nothing to protect the flowers!they were ice cold and half will never open because they were frozen!all it took was a little effort to take care of them...a bag of some sort over them would have protected them!they just didnt care!shame on you for taking money from a struggling girl and delivering a product that obviously you didnt care how it arrived there.she will be in tears when she sees it! I called in a same day order and this shop completely exceeded my expectations, I live in Arizona and wanted to send flowers to someone who works in the local area.
