I had tuition at kip in Scunthorpe to help prepare me for my GCSE English exam. After my mock exams I was predicted a grade 2 and I needed to get a 4. My tutor advised me that I wouldn’t be able to make such an improvement in such a short space of time and advised me to prepare myself for another year of study. I contacted kip Scunthorpe and Clare and the team believed it was possible to upskill my knowledge in time for the exams. After a few weeks of kip tuition my tutor said that I was improving and she thought there may be a chance of me securing a grade 4. I am delighted to say I got a grade 4 in the main exams and I believe if I had approached kip earlier and not a few weeks before my exam my grade would have been higher. Both of my children have attended Kip McGrath on and off for many years now for English, Maths, Science and 11+ classes. Both have made great progress with my eldest now moving into his GCSE period at Caistor Grammar School. He is currently attending Kip for English revision in preparation for his GCSE in May and found these sessions have helped with exam techniques. He has excelled in Science and Maths throughout his time at Caistor after studying these at Kip in year 6 and is now predicted level 8’s and 9’s. I feel Kip nurtured his thirst for knowledge in these areas. My youngest son has been focusing on writing skills, creative writing along with comprehension and 11+ work.
