Love Kingfish, im looking forward to coming back here and dining. As my relative is temporarily living the vanderbilt, we ordered takeout (2 sushi rolls and 2 flatbread pizzas). The sushi was of high quality fish and the flatbread pizza was good (left a little too long in the oven but i'd still give it another try). The service was great and let me tell you - it's really nice inside. I recommend this place to others! More...

We had 5 for Sunday brunch. One of the best brunches ever! I had poached eggs and salmon that was superb. Our table ordered a Fig and Prosciutto flatbread appetizer that was awesome on presentation and taste. Everyone raved about their meals. Even the coffee was outstanding. The Chef's niece was our server and she was wonderful. We recently also attended the McCall Winery Wine pairing dinner at Kingfish that was off the charts awesome and one of the most enjoyable dinners I have ever had. Kingfish is a hidden gem inside the stunning Vanderbilt Luxury Apartment high rise. They rival the best of Manhattan's restaurants. I live in metro Washington DC, but grew up in this area. I travel back here often and usually dine at Kingfish each visit. I also stayed at The Vanderbilt same day we ate here. They have approximately 15 luxury suite hotel rooms. I cannot say enough great things about the beautiful Vanderbilt and their genuinely gracious staff. More...

Was nicely surprised to experience dining at this venue on a date night with my spouse. The staff were very friendly and cordial. The waiter was helpful and willing to engage with us. Although the menu was mostly seafood, as a non-seafood eater, I was able to select a chicken entree that was juicy, tender and tasty. My wife enjoyed her seafood appetizer and sushi. We would likely return. More...

Came here in hopes of a nice birthday dinner, was not disappointed! The restaurant is situated inside the Vanderbilt, a luxury apartment complex. Weird, but there's a nice parking lot with a valet option which makes it convenient! For our party of 10, we started off with 2 dozen oysters, half east coast and half west. All were shucked well with no sand, which is important for me! West coast are definitely my favorite, so smooth and creamy. For entrees, I got the seafood risotto and my boyfriend got the swordfish. DEFINITELY get the swordfish if you're a fan of fish. It was so buttery and melted in your mouth, and the sauce paired beautifully with it. Would come back just for this fish. For a table of 10, food and drinks were priced reasonably. It was a good meal without breaking the bank. Definitely will be returning! More...

Pleasantly surprised by this place.  My wife suggested we give this place a try during Long Island Restaurant Week and we were very happy with our experience.  Hidden inside a hotel/condo rental building right off Corporate Drive, the dining area is spacious, comfortable and modernly elegant.  The restaurant week menu was excellent and gave us a huge amount of choices to sample.  Food here was good - caesar salad was well dressed, pork chop was cooked to perfection with an onion marmalade, barramundi was tender and flaky and desserts were top notch - fig cake was moist and luscious.  Service here was very good and our server was both knowledgeable and friendly.  Prices were excellent (especially for restaurant week) but I don't know the regular menu price.  Would highly recommend especially during restaurant week (if they participate again). We were here for the LI Restaurant week so the prefixed menu was one of the best we had as a family. I love the center-cut pork cut, I was so hungry that I didn't have time to take a picture. But the pork chop was moist and juicy, by far one of the best pork chops I've ever had. They accommodated our two children and it was great in the end children got a cookie. The food at Kingfish is wonderful. We went during LI Restaurant Week which meant that a 3-course meal was a moderate $30.00 per person . We started with a crab cake and a beet salad, followed by grilled swordfish and shrimp risotto. For dessert we had a warm apple crisp and a flourless chocolate cake. All the food was delicious. For some reason our main courses arrived almost 30 minutes after the appetizer, which is the only reason I did not give it five stars. However our waiter was very understanding and gave us a complimentary glass of wine. I look forward to returning here. More...

We went with another couple during restaurant week, and what attracted us was the number of menu options. Although some of the appys and entrees had an additional add-on ($4-$7) it was well worth it as the seafood selections were prepared with unique sauces and sides.
