Shane’s creative ability has always delighted me - he has exceptional skills in lighting design, selection of soft furnishings, use of colour and window treatments.
I travel extensively for work, so Kindelan Design’s flexibility to work around my schedule and also to liaise with suppliers, builders and other trades in my absence has been much appreciated. I’ve also been extremely happy that Shane has sourced products which represent fantastic value for money.
Shane has exceptional talent - and he listens and considers very carefully the requirements and likes/dislikes of his client. This is what stands Kindelan Design apart.

Kindelan Design helped me with redesigning several areas in my home - reception room, hallway, reading nook and a bedroom.
Shane completely took the "heavy lifting” off my hands - but consulted with me when key decisions had to be made. The design therefore reflects my taste and the needs of my family. Shane developed a detailed design and then liaised with suppliers and contractors which meant there was limited disruption to me and my family. We are now making using of space in a different way that we wouldn’t have done before we had his support.
I am planning a new phase of work with Shane looking at the remaining areas of my home, and would happy recommend him to others looking for a new look for their home.

What’s your interior design process?
Kindelan Design offers a bespoke, in-person and online design services. A typical approach to a design project includes:
1. An initial video or face-to-face consultation and tour of your space
2. Developing a "mood board" showing the design look and feel
3. Creating floor plans and 3D renders, showing product placement and furniture layout
4. Developing a "specification" or list of your products, ready for you to purchase.
5. Ongoing face-to-face and video consultations to review the design and tailor to your requirements
For an additional fee, we can also support you with:
- Ordering of products on your behalf
- Helping you to find and choose contractors
- Project management, including day-to-day contractor management
- Installation and staging of products in your home
As an interior designer, we can often access furniture and product discounts, unavailable to the general public.
Which interior design styles can you cater for?
We work with our clients and their unique style and taste. We've worked on ultra-modern new builds in east London, to country cottages in Nothampton.

Whether for safety or convenience, we offer a bespoke, online design service to complement our traditional face-to-face services.
Interior design - Concept Design
Working with you to identify your needs and goals, assessing the existing environment, evaluating budget and any unique constraints or limitations.
Interior Design - Detailed Design
Providing detailed drawings, illustrations and example materials which depict the finished design.
Interior Design - Merchandise Specification and Purchasing
Working with you to narrow selections of furniture, fixtures, textiles, accessories and building materials which will be used in the new design. A detailed schedule is produced which allows you to purchase items independently, or Kindelan Design can purchase products on your behalf.
Interior Design - Project Management
We can manage implementation of your new design scheme from start to finish, including budget and time management, liaison with contractors and suppliers.
Online / Remote Design
Kindelan Design offers a bespoke, online design service. We’ll have a set of of unique online collaborative tools, making co-design between us a new and fun experience.
