With Kimberly I have learnt how to step deep within and give my characters the proper attention and empathy they deserve. Her feedback in class is absolutely priceless - she has this immense power to see right through any pretence, feel what's true and to help you face it . Thanks to this guidance, as well as the power tools she provides in her book, I have been moved to listen deeper, take in what's needed and grow steadily in the work, all the while keeping my thirst for more growth and exploration! I'm constantly feeling mountains of love and gratitude for being part of such an amazing creative family and for the support that Kimberly so openly offers. Thank you Kimberly, from the bottom of my heart! More...

I have been doing online classes with Kimberly for the last few months and she has been fantastic. She can always be trusted to give honest and insightful instruction, thoughts and critiques and I normally leave each session with an inspirational quote or thought that feeds into my work as an actor. 100% recommended!

Kimberly is an amazing teacher and human being. I've studied with her for over a year now and I've not only grown as an actor, but also as a person. She has an uncanny ability to recognize where individual actors are in their training: what they're good at and where they need to grow. In acting, sometimes it's two steps forward, one step back, but with Kimberly, she caters to your strengths and weaknesses equally in order to keep you confident while at the same time helping you to become consistently better. She also creates a classroom environment that is very likeminded and supportive. I highly recommend her classes. More...

Kimberly Jentzen combines her passion for the art form with her passion for the artist (writer and actor), and holds the actor accountable for identifying and living the truth at the emotional core of the writing. Living in that truth is the only path for the artist to show their love for the art and the audience and thus have real impact. She's also a heck of a lot of fun to work with. I just wish I lived in LA and could still work and learn with her. More...

Kimberly Jentzen tells you the truth and gets you to the truth in your work! I'm able to constantly take risks, get creative and get honest in my character choices and scene work through various techniques and exercises. This would never be possible if there was not an environment that supported that. It's also amazing when industry guest sit in on our classes, whether it be working actors, directors, casting directors, mangers, agents or producers. They all come for the quality of talent that is nurtured here. Highly recommended! More...

I've been a part of several studios here in La.  Many of them are very good and others not so much.  I can say with great confidence that Kimberley's class is a hidden gem.  Every week I walk out of her classroom having grown as an actor.  It's quite remarkable.  She knows exactly where each person needs to be pushed, how to push them, and where they need to grow. She has a particular love for her students and her craft that cannot be accurately measured by stars and reviews.  If you are passing through reviews and wondering where to go; please take a few minutes to look up some videos from her classes.  You wont regret it. I am so thankful to Kimberly Jentzen. She not only is a great teacher in her studio, but her book and her methods are outstanding. I noticed a huge shift in my acting from the last gig I acted in before I began working with her, and my first huge performance in Allegiance the Musical the Los Angeles Premiere with George Takei a few months later. Not only was I doing better naturally for having booked such a high-profile role, but I had the tools necessary to know how to dive into the character, script, and time period. I even had many friends who came to see the show who commented on how they all loved my character for her emotional journey. That kind of work was made so much easier because of Kimberly. More...

I initially found Kimberly by discovering, and reading her book, "Acting With Impact." After reading it several times and applying her tools, I booked a lead in a short film. Her technique is intuitive, easy to comprehend, and all-encompassing for an actor at any level. Because of my success with her book, I decided to study with her personally. Working with her and learning her technique first-hand has allowed me to achieve new heights and depths in my craft. Her exceptional ability to see, and bring out the greatness inside of any actor is truly a gift. In just a few short months, my emotional range has expanded, and I have reached new complexities within my work that facilitate living moment by moment within any scene. Because of that film, I finally have some footage I am proud of. However, what I am capable of now after training with Kimberly, personally, just blows that performance away. I am truly grateful to Kimberly and the consummate Jentzen technique. More...

I had my very first meeting with Kim in June, and she was so welcoming. I went in never having had an acting class before, and she has always been so nurturing and supportive. Even when she gives critiques, she always give them in a gentle, but stern way from a very good heart in wanting her students to be the best they can be. She always calls out the greatest potential in her students, and she fights for them till the end. She's a loving coach and an amazing woman. In her class, she emphasizes love and never judging another, which I'm all for. Her class is definitely a spiritual experience that no one else can offer. She's an inspiration to me and many others. You will not regret having her as your acting coach. More...

I started with Kimberly's weekend long intensive. At first, I was apprehensive, thinking I would be overwhelmed by all the hours of class. Kimberly assured me it would be fun and I would learn a lot. She was right! That weekend was incredible. I found myself energized, excited and engaged the entire time. I went on to take on going scene study classes, which have taught me a lot about myself, acting, the business, and being an artist. Kimberly's approach goes to the core of who you are, and what you bring.  Her knowledge of the craft and exercises to help you through blocks in your work are instrumental. I'm so grateful to have found Kimberly and her studio. More...

Whether you are a beginner actor, or a seasoned pro seeking a fresh approach, my greatest gratification comes in witnessing the breakthroughs that will develop your mastery in acting.

I fell in love with the art at a very young age. After being a professional actors for years, I transitioned into teaching and coaching the day I taught my first class over 25 years ago, as I felt I had found my purpose.

You are a unique instrument. I can help you tune your skills and enrich the depth in your work. Also, my book, Acting with Impact gives a foundation that can enrich your skill.
