I have been a qualified counsellor for 9 years, a member of the BACP since 2009, and a registered member since 2016.

My role as a counsellor is to work in a safe, non-judgemental and confidential environment. The session allow my clients to explore issues, and by offering a high standard of therapeutic care and support, help them to find solutions and take responsibility for their own decisions.

Humanistic Person-Centred counselling allows my clients to explore their life experiences rather than on one are, this then allows them to identify their own strengths and working with this allows them to to obtain and achieve the desired goal. This is my main approach to counselling, however my qualification was joint with Humanistic and psychodynamic, and given the right environment and without time constraints, i do and will use psychodynamic methods.

Although I work in a GP practice, I also work in private practice, for a rape and sexual asssult charity and a private fertility clinic. I am a member of BICA (British Infertility Counselling Association) and have completed training in Skype, web based and telephone counselling.

I work with young adults who are on the autistic spectrum with a variety of needs who are taking the next steps on their educational ladder. This is usually done in their own environment to begin with, enabling them to start to feel comfortable with the outdoor environment.

I am available Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday all day, Thursday all day including evenings and Saturday mornings.
