My husband and I loved our photo session and photos from Kim!! We live in the Chicagoland area and took our 4 month old daughter on a trip to visit her Great Grandma in Trumbull. We wanted to get a four generation photo together but also wanted various family photos and photos of just our daughter. Kim travelled to Trumbull so we could have the photos in my Grandmother's backyard (which was very important to us). Kim and her husband Greg did a great job accommodating all of the photos and kept my daughter's attention during the 45 minute session (which is a long time for a 4 month old)! My daughter was in all of the photos and was quite tired by the end but she is looking at the camera in all of the photos and many photos she has big smiles. Kim was a dream! As a first time mom and a mom to a preemie I was a nervous wreck about the process but Kim had such a soothing presence. She was patient and kind and when baby got a bit fussy she even walked him around and soothed him!! I loved that her focus was on the comfort of our child. No muss and fuss with buckets and props. Kim took such amazing photos of my 6 week old son. He was awake the entire time and she engaged with him in a way that made me comfortable as a first time mom. The quality of the photos was impeccable, and I have already started to mention her to anyone that has seen the photos she took. My dad is not one to cry over a photo, but he did when he saw the ones I received!! The turn around time for the session was quick and efficient as well, and Kim definitely knows how to communicate professionally with clients. She was accommodating to my time as well, her introductory email had the information needed to know what to expect when and where to go for the session. My son took quite a bit of her time, and even after him needing to be changed and fed, she made use of the down time to get to know me and the baby as well as switch up her studio. Kim did a holiday photo shoot this year for my husband, myself and our dog at our home. She was wonderful and we are in love with the photos we got. She and her husband did a great job getting the dog to look at the camera, they knew how to have us pose and they were very quick and efficient. Highly recommend this photographer! Shoots in-studio in Sandy Hook, as well as in your own home or outside. We went to her studio for maternity and newborn photos. Kim is an amazing photographer. We have been using Kim for 3 years now to do our 1st and 2nd daughter's 1 year family photoshoots. The quality of photos she takes it stunning and we hate having to choose which ones to keep. She is very accommodating (especially when it comes to location and times to suit our family needs). We love that her husband helps out too because he is the best at entertaining and making our girls giggle. We can't recommend Kim enough. We recently did a mini session with Kim and couldn't have been happier! She instantly set everyone at ease and worked so well with her assistant to get my 3 small kids to smile and laugh. We used Kim for a mini-photo session in the fall and then again for a newborn shoot this winter. Both times she got amazing photos of our family and we will cherish them forever. At the mini-session, I was really impressed with what she was able to do in a short amount of time. At the newborn session she was really patient and just went with the flow (having to work around a fussy/hungry baby and an excited big sister!). I had not done the newborn photos with my first because I was worried it would be stressful, but I'm SO happy I did with my second and that we have those photos of the family now.
