After doing CrossFit for years and trying OrangeTheory for a spell, I’m so grateful to be at Kilo for a multitude of reasons: 1) The coaches know their stuff beyond measure; they are the smartest, most educated athletic trainers I’ve ever come across. They train trainers so that tells you a lot! 2) The gym is immaculate so if you’re worried about the typical gym cooties, you don’t need to worry about that there. 3) The programming works your muscles well. You’re appropriately tired and sore but don’t feel like you’re going to die afterwards. There’s lifting classes daily and conditioning twice a week and they both provide a wonderful body workout. 4) I regret not joining sooner because Kilo is fabulous from the clients to the staff to the facility. As a person who's done CrossFit, OrangeTheory, and various other places, I've found this to be the best by far and here's why: 1) the gym is immaculate and sparkling clean; 2) the programming is perfect because you have a daily choice between upper and lower body strength training and the workout is always a challenge but in the best way possible, meaning you feel it but not like you're going to die. And they change the programming regularly so boredom isn't an option; 3) Wednesday and Saturday is conditioning which is SUPER fun with sleds and ropes, etc.; 4) the personal attention is AMAZING! KILO's PRIMEIGHT group training system provides an amazing blend of group training camaraderie and personalized fitness programming. Most group fitness solutions are heavy on the fun, light on the results.PRIMEIGHT provides a huge serving of both. The periodized strength training you do in each class has been thought through every detail - from the position of each squat rack in the gym to the hand position of each particular exercise. It's really an impressive system. I have been in the fitness industry for over 13 years and nothing I have learned remotely approaches this system in terms of efficacy and organization. I have been training with the PRIMEIGHT system online for over a year now, and I have put on 10 lbs of muscle and dropped 5 lbs of bodyfat. My body looks more defined than ever before. I actually flew down to Huntington Beach specifically to experience this masterwork of fitness firsthand and learn how it is organized, so I can implement its principles at my own gym in San Francisco. The KILO crew is top notch. Steph, Kelsey and Alex are seasoned strength coaches and leaders in the fitness industry. There is a reason that this place does NOT have one bad review! I discovered Kilo through a friend who raved about it after taking one of their classes through class pass. She said she loved it so much that she bought a membership. I tried it and although it's really not close to where I live or work, I find myself coming back at least once a week. All of their trainers are so knowledgeable and they cater the workout to everyone's specific needs whether they are a complete newbie to weight training or very advanced. The workouts are slow and completely focused on form (unless you take their conditioning class on Wednesday or Saturday) and you really won't have to worry about injuring yourself. The trainers are so extremely knowledgeable and passionate about the workout. It's really no surprise that people from all over the world fly in to attend some of the seminars they hold. This place, these people, and their practice are all exceptional.  My wife and I are both patrons of Kilo, and it has, without exaggeration, changed our lives.  I am so grateful that these international leaders of training have landed in our backyard to create and support this community.  If you have not yet visited the gym for a class, do it.Kilo was founded and is run by trainers who train trainers.  Literally, strength trainers from different states, countries, and continents regularly come to Orange County to attend workshops at Kilo and learn how to better serve their own clients.  Their expansive knowledge is grounded in the goal of increasing strength while emphasizing safety and recovery.  They train professional athletes, people completely new to strength training (me and my wife), and every level in between.The founders of Kilo also happen to be amazing people.  Their personalities have enabled this diverse gym community to be both comfortable and motivating.  We now consider all of them friends.The gym itself has the nicest equipment available.  They created this gym to model strength training for everyone, and every detail was invested in to reflect that.On a personal note, you learn how to move and control your body in every movement you can make.  You become significantly stronger in both your large muscles and in those you do not know you have.  You become stronger with balance across ranges of motion.  You look way better... way better.  You are able to do things that you could not do before, and feel free to be creative in imagining all the things that can mean to an adult.Do yourself a favor: go to Kilo. Came here for a front squat session with Jordan and I had so much fun!! It was my first time doing any of this and Jordan was extremely patient with me. She made sure I was comfortable and slowly helped me build up my confidence in lifting. Nothing was too difficult, but it was definitely still challenging. Stephane is my satellite trainer. I have progressed more quickly with him than any other, and when I don't get to the gym, my muscle tone lasts longer. The KILO crew are the best group of trainers I've ever met. Their knowledge seemingly knows no bounds. They're exceptionally well educated and understand how to bridge the gap between science and practical application. Regardless of what your goals are the KILO crew has the knowledge and experience to get you there. If you're a coach who's passionate about the field of personal training/strength & conditioning you will find no better mentor than Stephane. I highly recommend doing as many internships with him as possible as he understands exercise selection, short- and long-term periodization, and program design better than anyone in the industry today.

A well equipped, trainer owned facility. Steph and Alex focus on you like a laser 1-1 or in the group class. I've never had such dedicated attention correcting my movement and preparing my routine in advance.
It's hard to believe it costs less than a personal trainer at globo gym and doesn't require membership.
The owners/trainers are from athletic strength coaching backgrounds so keeping you healthy and mobile while gaining strength is in their wheelhouse.

I can’t say enough good things about my time at KILO.
They have an amazing facility, top level coaching, and world class education.
Their team is extremely organized, professional and really make you feel like you are part of the Kilo family. I can easily say that the Body Comp Camp is one of the best courses I’ve taken in all my 15 years in the industry. I seriously wish I had access to this kind of coaching years ago. I had a fantastic three day private internship with Stephane and the team at Killo Strength Society.

In three days we covered all of the content that I hoped in unbelievable detail and also had time to learn about other key topics.

Stephane is a fantastic teacher, has incredible knowledge and I'd recommend going to see him or attending his courses to anyone in the industry.

I’m training for a marathon and wanted to add strength workouts to my regimen. I heard about KILO from a friend and went to check it out. Not only do they have state of the art equipment and facilities, Alex, Stephane, and Kelsey are super down to earth and take you through a complete workout that focuses on properly warming up, correct form and technique, and other stabilizing exercises to support whatever goals you may have. I've been training at Kilo for more than a year and it has made a huge difference in my strength, stamina and ability to do all kinds of sports. Most importantly, in 15 months I haven't injured myself. Alex and Stephane make detailed corrections on posture to ensure safety and results. The equipment is top notch, the training changes every week and I enjoy seeing the groups of trainers that come from all over the world to learn from Stephane, as well as the occasional training session with professional athletes who call Kilo their home. Everything I need in a gym. Knowlegable helpful trainers and state of the art, clean work out facilities. Strength training was definitely outside this dentist mamas comfort zone but I'm so thankful I found it. This gym, these trainers, and their carefully tailored program is exactly what I needed. It has been less than two months and already I'm noticing a huge improvement in my strength, posture, and overall wellbeing. I tried just about everything (acupuncture, massage, physical therapy, chiropractics, pilates) to improve my chronic work related neck and upper back pain and arm weakness/numbness and it only got worse, especially when compounded by being pregnant with and birthing two huge babies then nursing and carrying both of them. I'm still a beginner, I still have some pain, and I have a long way to go but I finally have some hope. KILO Strength Society is the WHOLE package! It is a beautiful facility with beyond talented and skilled strength coaches. Their PRIMEIGHT classes are not your usual "group class" every exercise is adaptable to your individual level, whether it is your first time in a squat rack or if you are a experienced and accomplished lifter . This gym and these trainers are exactly what I need to regain my strength and body! As a dentist my back and neck have suffered and so has my job and my life. Compound my profession with everything that goes into having 2 kids under 2, lack of energy, sleep, time, and especially core strength... This was a recipe for disaster. My youngest is two and after countless dr visits, trips to the chiropractor, various forms of physical therapy and still feeling weak and hopeless I've decided it's time for a change! This gym offers the precise controlled effective strength training I need to heal and build. The small classes and one on one attention and coaching from the amazing trainers are perfect for this big time beginner in the strength training Arena. I need all the help and motivation I can get. The facilities are immaculate and the equipment is top of the line and brand new. They even offer nutrition counseling and high-quality supplements to enhance your workout. I am one of three of the KILO Crew! We moved to Huntington Beach to follow our dream of opening up a facility in sunny SoCal. My two partners, the head strength coaches, Stephane and Alexandra and I have personally worked with each other for 5 years as co-workers and they have been my trainers. Services

KILO’s Signature Group Training is designed to take each client’s physical performance to the highest level. The 55 minute session will be based around the Power Rack and improving the PRIMEIGHT: Squat, Front Squat, Deadlift, Overhead Press, Incline Press, Bench Press, Dip, and Chin-up. We will teach each member proper training techniques to ensure optimal results. Progress is part of our foundation, and PRIMEIGHT has been created so you can train in a high-energy, empowering group setting with professional guidance.

An energetic and dynamic 30-45 minute energy system workout which incorporates modified Strongman equipment such as the prowler and log press, along with sprints and calisthenics. We are excited to welcome the TANK by Torque Fitness into our facility.
