About
I am an Executive Virtual Assistant specialising in events, project management and business support services. I work with entrepreneurs, corporate companies and NFP to support them in freeing up their time so they can get back to focusing on their bottom line.
I work as a freelance contractor so no holiday pay, sickness, Tax or NI to contend with. You pay for my time.
I have recently won the Lux Life Hospitality Award for Best Event and Project Manager in the South East.
A little about me….
I am a virtual assistant specialising in event and project management and have experience in managing all types of events, be they f2f, hybrid or virtual from charity fundraising dinners to large conferences, training sessions and workshops, to a 3-day festival so I can turn my hand to any style of event, as a result of this I have managed the PR and marketing for these events as I like to be multi- faceted in my approach to the projects I manage.
I have experience in writing press releases, managing press, stakeholder engagement and sourcing and creating comprehensive lists for pr outreach as well as taking an event from concept to reality and managing that entire process.
I am currently working on a campaign launch for Inis Communication in partnership with Unite Health, this is to show appreciation for those who supported us in the pandemic through an awards ceremony taking place in Geneva. I manage the event and support with the overall promotion of this- https://www.socmedawards.com/2023/
My most recent event was a 2-day conference for Fidelity Bank. (https://www.fitcc.co.uk/ I was taken on as Event Director and was in sole charge of a team of 20 staff. I managed the entire cycle of the conference from the planning to speaker arrangements, venue, registration, marketing and so forth. The FITCC conference was a huge success, and we received a personal recommendation from the CEO of Fidelity Bank. I also implemented a media room, arranged interviews for high end speakers, dignitaries, and other influential people, at the same time running the social media team to ensure that the event reached maximum traction.
This resulted in our event receiving a lot of interest and coverage of the press.
I have been running virtual, hybrid and in person events for over 10 years now, before that I worked in an agency style environment also managing events.
I have recently completed a festival for a charity called Line of Duty, we had over 10,000 people attend, and I was in sole charge of the entire process from its initial planning to the final delivery, from sourcing stallholders, sponsorship, marketing and I was invited to our local radio station to promote the event, as well as 2 other community radios. This resulted in a huge increase in attendance.
Before that I managed a 2-day conference in London for 8-9 figure Amazon sellers and a conference for women entrepreneurs, called Branded by Women, with an emphasis on female empowerment. I support this client with event management, promotions including working on the marketing via repurposing content from their podcast.
I have been fortunate to also work on some amazing virtual/hybrid events, such as a 3-day summit that was a hybrid event, so the live element was in Montenegro, and I managed the virtual side, for Green Culture, who focus on education programmes, awareness, and innovation around green issues. This was an extremely successful event and I managed it from the initial planning to the final evaluation.

I also have previously run a conference for 400 delegates for Population Matters, titled ‘More Feet, More Heat. This was held at Amnesty International https://populationmatters.org/. My role here was to manage the entire project as the event coordinator and lead facilitator.
Most recently I have been working with a communications organisation called Inis Communication and through them I get to work with clients such as the World Health Organisation, ADP, GLEPHA on their virtual and face to face events, consisting of training workshops, webinars on the role of public health in the Covid crisis, also international conference for GLEPHA and many webinars on their ‘Envisaging the Future Series.

I have experience using multiple streaming platforms, from Whova, Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, Gotowebinar, then a wealth of project/task management platforms including Asana, Trello, Clickup, Dubsado, Monday.com and more.
I pride myself on my professionalism and that all my clients and projects have returned to work with me or stayed with me even through Covid-19. Anything to do with managing relationships is where I excel. Due to my communication skills, I can put clients, stakeholders, sponsors, and anyone else at ease as they have an open line of communication and I make myself their direct point of contact. This always helps to ensure these working relationships are strong
I have worked on global events and currently support GLEPHA, ADP and the WHO with events in USA, Africa, Asia, and Australasia these have been virtual and are around police and public health issues in light of Covid. I manage the creation of the event and production plans, the Run of Show. I am point of contact for the speakers, delegates, and participants.
I am technically savvy and regularly use different platforms to run my business and manage my client’s workload, from social media scheduling, project management, GSuite applications, Microsoft and so many more.
I am a natural relationship builder and can easily manage and nurture relationships with stakeholders, event companies, investors, and clients. My clients say that I am professional, approachable, a natural problem solver and extremely proactive. I get the job done!
One of my favourite aspects of managing projects and events is that I can take an idea from concept to reality and can be in charge or lead on its delivery. I regularly create EMP, project plans and can work with a team, individually and take ownership of my tasks and happily assign others and be accountable to all.
I have a true passion in supporting charities and a real interest in working with organisations that work with women, children, the protection of the environment and education.
