What makes a great website?
There are several things that make a great website. Here at Keystone we focus on LSEO and SEO ranking factors. Its important to have a great contact page with Google Maps embedded as well as name, address, phone number on the website. We target keywords and also focus on link signals to maximize visibility. It's also a great idea to have local listings or citations all linking through to the website. This is a service we provide for our clients as well. Content is also important on any good website. Clear and professional photos and videos need to be used not poor quality content. Graphic design and images all need to be exported in their proper formats and resolutions as to increase load time on the website. The front page is also very important, it needs to be optimized to decrease bounce rates and keep people engaged. These are all things we take into consideration when building a website.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
That entirely depends on what we are doing for the client. For websites we have an interview process we take our clients through to make sure we build and present the website in the way the client would like it presented. When working on social media for a client we need logins for each account as well as other credentials to access the Google listing and other important platforms. We have a new client info packet we send to all our clients when they sign with us to make sure we represent the company with the right voice and the right information.

I love being able to help those that are less educated in the world of digital marketing and social media marketing.
