My job uses this catering company a lot and they always do good but our Christmas party was on another level! We gave them a simple idea we had and they truly went above and beyond! The decor was so on point, the staff matched and provided excellent customer service, and the food was so yummy! They put on such a great event from start to finish and we really enjoyed it! Key Ingredients catered our wedding and they did a fantastic job. From the beginning, it was a pleasure working with Javier. He worked with us through many iterations to draft a proposal that met all of our needs. He also accommodated our guests' allergies including preparing a separate dish for someone who was allergic to black pepper. And he helped us lay out our venue when he came to do the walkthrough.On the day of the wedding, the food was phenomenal. The buffet was beautifully arranged and everyone appreciated the efficiency of the layout. The steak was perfectly prepared, the chicken had a bunch of interesting flavors, and the side dishes were delicious. Key also designed a dessert buffet with tons of delicious options. The wedding cake was one of the best we've ever tasted. The service was also top-notch; they made sure that we (the bride and groom) were taken care of the entire night and prepared a flavored water at the end of the night which our guests appreciated.Overall, we would recommend Key Ingredients to anyone looking for a wedding caterer. I can not thank Javier and his team enough for making our wedding day amazing! Javier was attentive to my many questions and special request from the very beginning! We customized our menu for our guest which included passed appetizers, stationary displays, & a duet dinner entree! Javier worked with our budget and was very affordable without sacraficing quality. Our guests can not stop raving about how great the food was! Javier adds just the right amount of spice and flavor to each one of his dishes which sets them apart from most caterers! Food was excellent for my daughter's wedding reception, and the staff was both helpful and adaptable. They did not get to set up where it was planned that they would (ended up in the garage) and did not even blink at all of the changes due to weather, nor did they complain. Key Ingredients was the best caterer! From the start, they were so attentive and listened to my input, creating just the right menu for our wedding reception, while sticking to our budget. Javier and Carla were very professional, attentive and kind from start to finish. The day of the wedding, they proved to be above and beyond our expectations. We had an unexpectedly cold and ferociously windy day for our garden reception. The whole team adapted to the day as it unrolled, and made sure everyone was fed and happy. TEN STARS-- I love this company. Â I used their services to cater my 2017 family reunion in Virginia. Â Working with the owner, Javier, was a pleasant experience from beginning to end. Â I started almost a year earlier with planning and contracts. Â I enjoyed working with the administrators of this company. Â The reunion was in August 2017, just recently. Â For my family banquet on the Sunday of reunion weekend, Ramon and Manuel showed up on site to set up the serving line and prepare the materials such as food warmers and serving utensils. Â They were on time, friendly, and efficient. Â They tremendously helped the event to be a success. Â Their contact info is definitely saved in my records for anticipated returning business. I was introduced to Key Ingredients Catering through a flyer that was handed to the receptionist at my work. I usually order lunch for my executives during their meetings and I'm always searching for a delicious caterer. Let me just say that the level of service and quality of food is delicious!I ordered the Mediterranean Lunch for 15 guests and it includes (Lamb, Chicken, Romaine Salad, Falafel, Rice, Hummus, Baba Ganoush, Tzatziki, Pita Bread). First of all, my executives are selective diners and only enjoy fresh foods. I worked with Javier via email to place the order and met with a gentleman named Ramon who was delivering the food. He is extremely kind and very detail oriented. I brought him inside the conference room and he set up all of the food as quietly as he could since the meeting was running over the allotted time. Also, he cleaned all the edges around the cartons holding the food to ensure it was neat and clean. He also cleaned up any plastic wrappings from unwrapping the food. I really appreciate his work. Just attended a corporate luncheon catered by Key. Â Can't say enough about the food. Â Our menu included Green Salad with Strawberries, Goat Cheese and Strawberry vinaigrette, Grilled Peruvian style Chicken Breast, Asian Flank Steak, Garden Rice, & Brownies.
