Mr. Kevin was fantastic. He helped me overcome so many obstacles in my life. It saddens me that I had to relocate but if you are going through hardship and need someone to help you he is your guy! Thanks again Mr. Kevin!

Mr. Childs was an excellent support system during a very stressful time for me! As a military spouse, I was able to use my Tricare benefits to seek support. Through my provider recommendation, and based on his reviews I decided to start visits with him. Mr. Childs is very relatable and I felt very comfortable opening up to him, as it often isn't! I felt that he was able to understand by point of view and he was able to provide relevant advice that helped me deal with my situation at the time. This is my first time seeking counseling services, but had to leave as I moved out of state; however, visits with him have encourage me to continue seeking support in my new location. Seeking help is not as bad as it is portrayed, specially for us military spouses dealing with everything at home with no friends and family near! More...

Kevin really helped my wife and I identify some communication issues that were harming our friendship and marriage. He was very professional and personal which made talking to him about ourselves very comfortable. His attitude and demeanor really helped set the atmosphere for the two of us to openly talk about our relationship with him and his insight and guidance has been extremely helpful as we continue to grow individually and as a team. Highly recommend his services. More...

It is difficult to summarize how thankful and appreciative my therapy sessions with Mr. Kevin Childs . It was a transformational and meaningful experience because of the pain throughout my life. Being oblivious Showing how strong I’ve been but never took the time to see how far I have come as an adult, his therapy exceeds all of my expectations. The environment is very peaceful and relaxing, This is one of the few places that I feel safe to talk .He's helping me find my identity as an adult ( coming from a broken childhood) I truly value the experience of knowing Mr. Childs. He also prepares me for the next steps to take in my life and advice whats a good direction to take next and supporting me throughout the entire process . The growth I experienced there will continue to guide me throughout my life. I would recommend everyone to you! Thank you so much Mr. Childs More...

I have been going to Mr. Childs for a couple months now. I was nervous about starting counseling when I had been through much trauma throughout my life from very young childhood to my young adult years. Mr. Childs helped me to feel at ease the first day I met him. He is very compassionate and nonjudgmental. He also asks good questions and does not just sit there with a blank look on his face. He engages you and really listens. I feel like I am talking with a friend only one who can help decode me. Ever since I started counseling with Mr. Childs, I feel more compassion even for myself and I feel more normal because he has helped me to understand myself and have more patience for myself as far as growing is concerned. If you are looking for a counselor, please do check out Dr. Childs. More...

If you are looking for a counselor that just asks “And how does that make you feel” this is not the place for you. If you want someone to listen to your concerns and give realistic unbiased feedback then you have come to the right place. Kevin Childs is an amazing counselor that has helped me understand how to work through things that we all go through that half of us can’t figure out. He will not tell you what you want to hear but what you need to hear. Definitely recommend his services. More...

Q&As

Helping someone recover from emotional trauma, by teaching them to tap into their inner strengths to find peace, purpose and joy.

Finding and living my purpose meant that I had to be free of certain constraints. I needed to engage others in a way that my former job was not designed to support. So, I struck out on my own. I have no regrets.

I'm caring, I'm qualified and not only do I respect the process, I respect the person.
