Having only worked with Louka through courses, I can just imagine how amazing it would be as a member of his gym. A true coach dedicated to educating his clients and himself! As a strength and mobility coach myself, I hold who I learn from to the highest of standards and he surpasses these standards every time! I'm hooked! I came to Kettlebell Club two years ago, through a physio who recommended Louka when I was looking for a workout program to strengthen my back. I knew that I needed to strength train but could not get past the monotony of traditional gym weight classes and wanted more of a specialist who would help me train safely. Louka is constantly changing things up, finding interesting warm-ups and combinations of exercises that keep me engaged. He is especially mindful of ensuring proper technique so that we do not hurt ourselves with the weights, yet feel confident to lift heavier and heavier ones in the exercises. I am really pleased with the transformation I have seen in my body and with how good I feel overall. I see so many great people coming to the classes on a regular basis. I would highly recommend the Kettlebell Club for anyone, no matter your fitness level, wanting to be stronger, more flexible, increase their mobility, and just generally feel better. Louka and his team are knowledgeable, patient, encouraging, and make you feel comfortable in the gym from your very first day. I would like to give a huge shout out to Louka & his team of trainers at the kettle bell club. I joined the club several months ago, not really knowing much about kettle bells and proper body movement. Well fast forward to today... I am still impressed and happy to have discovered this amazing place. The classes, learning functional movement, the combined knowledge and attention during every single class I have taken, is above par and truly worth your time, effort and great results. I’ve been a member of the Kettlebell Club for a little more than a year now and I am loving it! My fitness level has improved exponentially in many aspects such as strength, endurance and flexibility. For example, I can now do a full squat without knee pain, touch my toes from a standing position, and climb several flights of stairs without huffing and puffing. On a recent vacation, I noticed I was able to manage carrying my heavy luggage without difficulty. Indeed, it is training that carries over to improvement in daily functional activities that results in a better quality of life overall. I can vouch for the expertise of all the coaches at the Kettlebell Club being in the exercise therapy field myself. And the best part of all is the warm and welcoming vibe every time I attend a class. It really is a wonderful community of members and coaches. Do come and give it a try! More...

When searching for a gym, I asked myself do I really want to join a traditional gym with big classes where a trainers attention is divided amongst 30+ members. I wanted something different and the Kettlebell Club did not disappoint. What initially attracted me to the Kettlebell club is that it’s mission matched what I was looking for. As we get older, our body changes, our lifestyle changes and the Kettlebell Club adapts their programs precisely to your strengths and limitations. The trainers have your best interest at heart with individual attention. Everyday I get stronger, and the aches and pains that were present due to a sedentary lifestyle have slowly melted away. Ce que j’aime de Louka et son équipe, c’est la patience qu’ils demontrent... quand je ne comprends pas un exercice ou que j’ai des limitations, ils trouvent toujours une façon de décomposer le mouvement par petites étapes plus faciles à réussir.. l’accent est toujours mis sur la qualité des mouvements plutôt que sur la rapidité et/ou la quantité. En quelques semaines, j’ai beaucoup progressé et amelioré ma mobilité et surtout ma souplesse. Les groupes sont petits et chacun peut travailler à son rythme. Les entrainements sont diversifiés. C’est un club différent de tous ceux que j’ai connu. Je possède un baccalauréat en activité physique de l’université de Sherbrooke et l’approche de l’entraîneur Louka ne se compare à rien de ce que j’ai appris et appliqué lorsque j’ai travaillé en activité physique. L’entraînement est basé sur les principes de la qualité plutôt que la quantité, sur le respect de chaque personne; son niveau, ses capacités, ses limites et adaptations de celles-ci afin de progresser chacun à son rythme et ce tous ensemble dans une même classe et sans jugement. Meilleur place pour apprendre l’art des kettlebells et s’entraîner à Montréal! Le chemin vers la forme physique n’est pas facile et il y a des hauts et des bas. Si on s’entraîne régulièrement et de façon intelligente comme c'est enseigné au Kettlebell club, on obtient des résultats!… Je pratique l’art des Kettlebells et je m’entraîne avec Louka depuis Janvier 2017. Le Kettlebell club, c’est devenu ma deuxième famille! Il y a là des gens formidables et tous les entraineurs sont extraordinaires. On est entres bonnes mains au Kettlebell Club! Tout est fait pour que l’on obtienne des résultats. Il suffit d’embarquer dans leurs programmes et de faire ce qu’il y a à faire… Ce n’est pas difficile parce qu’on s’entraîne en s’amusant et que tous le monde s’encourage. Peu importe notre niveau de forme physique notre âge ou nos limitations, on peut s’entraîner au Kettlebell Club et s’améliorer. On améliore notre santé pour pouvoir vieillir en beauté et en force! World class gym!! Instructors are very knowledgeable and friendly. Classes are varied and interesting. Daily and weekly schedule allows you to attend at your convenience. Been over two years that I’ve been training at the Kettlebell Club. I have finally found a workout that I enjoy and see results in all aspects. I am stronger, leaner and my posture has improved tremendously. It is also a place where all of your muscles will get stretched while doing mobility exercises. This workout is more than just using Kettlebells, it’s full body mobility training. I would highly recommend it, especially if you have any type of chronic pain. In fact, the mobility in my hip with osteoarthritis has increased while the pain has almost disappeared. Give it a try, you have nothing to lose but so much to gain. More...

I’m 54 and have finally found a program I can stick with. I’m at high risk for osteoporosis and injuries because of limited muscle mass. I’ve had muscle damage from 2 car accidents and a debilitating fall down icy stairs which left me with chronic pain. Since I’ve been training with Louka my pain has been significantly reduced and I am less prone to additional strains and aches. I don’t trust people easily but Louka is truly an expert at what he does. He is by far the most caring and nurturing trainer you will ever encounter. He is passionate about his work and gives individual attention to each of us. It’s like having a personal trainer but less lonely! The people in this gym are all struggling with some body ailment or issue. I never felt judged, just accepted and encouraged. I’m not the strongest person but I’m slowly increasing my weights and definitely suck less with each visit! I must also add that Louka’s own personal back story is so inspirational that when I don’t feel like coming in to train, thinking about that journey of resilience and hope gets me off my butt and back to his gym sanctuary. I can’t say enough good things about the kettlebell club. When I joined I was at a real low point in my life in terms of health and fitness. Five months later and I can do a brisk walk without getting short of breath, do a full squat without my knees hurting and pick something off the ground without suffering from reflux. I am so grateful for the expertise, patience and genuine kindness of coaches Louka and Tania, Thank-you for everything! Love the vibe and the philosophy of this training approach.
