What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
You can expect that we are going to take some great photos! I like to make every photo shoot super comfortable and fun for anyone and everyone involved, whether you’re an individual, couple, or family. I am always open to all of your suggestions, and love to collaborate on any creative ideas you may have, but I am also good at giving direction, and guiding you throughout the whole shoot with what to do to capture some terrific photos.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
I love to get to know my client, their personality. If you are more reserved I can suggest a lovely location that goes better with your personality as well as outfit choices. If you are more daring, I can suggest cliffs and dramatic makeup.
There is no one setting and outfit that fits all. Each photo session is unique just like you.
What do you love most about your job?
I love it when my photos bring smiles to families. I love how it brings everyone together to preserve that cherished moment in time here in beautiful balmy Hawaii.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I've loved photography ever since I was a child. Growing up, my dad was always taking pictures of all of us when we would visit the beaches or explore mountains. On weekends he would show me how to develop the film and I remember being mesmerized by the appearance of emerging pictures on white paper. To this day I love looking at all the pictures and remembering the amazing memories I have created with my family.
I want to give that feeling to every single of my clients.
