Ketch 22 photography

When we decided to hire a photographer for our wedding, we didn't really like the idea of standing and posing for hours and being separated from our guests for a long time. Steve went above and beyond expectations at delivering an absolutely outstanding service of capturing relaxed, natural and emotive photos and allowed us to enjoy our day with our guests whilst Steve worked around us.Steve is a very highly skilled and experienced photographer and that certainly shone through on the day, he not only captured beautiful natural shots of our wedding day, he also put ourselves and guests at ease. This is evident, there are so many moments of laughter and joy! People say that your photographer is one of the most important people you will hire at your wedding and it has to be perfect. Hi Steve,I just wanted to say an enormous thank you for my one to one camera tuition. I arrived on the day, with no technical knowledge. I knew the kind of picture I wanted to create but simply didn't know how to achieve it. I had spent hours reading and following an online course, trying to understand f stops and shutter speed.... to no avail, but the time spent with you during the morning, looking at how these are used together to create interesting and imaginative photos, suddenly made it all clear. Then having the opportunity to go out into the town and use my new found knowledge of the rules for composition of the photos was enormous fun...I could have stayed there all afternoon! I had never heard of street photography.....I am now looking for exhibitions I can go to.When we returned and loaded the photos onto the computer, I felt I had not really managed to capture the moment, but once we began to work through the editing process, I was amazed at how they just began to tell a story. I am so delighted with what I achieved....just goes to show, you're never too old to learn!!I can't wait to get out again and take more photos!Many, many thanks again,Judith More...

Amazing amazing!! I still can't believe it when I look at our photos I knew as soon as I saw Steve Catchside of Ketch 22 photography's photos on his website that he was the photographer for us. He captured the fun, movement and story of our wedding day. He caught all the guests in relaxed, intimate and joyful moments. He was everywhere and nowhere at the same time, seamlessly moving around and seeming like he was having a good time himself. Definitely worth every penny More...

Absolutely awesome job on the photos, we love them. Everything looks so real and they really show exactly how things were - a really special day that we’re all going to remember with fond memories. We love all the informal "formal" shots, but we especially love the ones where people don’t know you’re there - including us! Love the church doorway ones, the car ones, all the men in kilts...You even managed to show me as being reasonably confident and relaxed - takes some doing! Great job, thanks. More...
