Communication & organisational skills were superb - we knew exactly what would happen over the 2 day move from St Ives to North Yorkshire! On collection day Dan was punctual, professional and he packed our stuff up to make an impossible task look easy - we even had a few giggles. Everything was well wrapped in the van and protected from damage. He texted us that night to check we had arrived ok which was very thoughtful. On the drop-off day he was again punctual and had everything unloaded into the right room which was really helpful to me when unpacking. Dan and his team are possibly the best removal crew I've ever used. They have special padded bags for chairs, sofas and TVs to keep them safe during transit. They also use runners to prevent muddying up carpets and floors which worked wonders as it absolutely tipped it down during our move. Absolutely nailed it. Good price, too! Absoloutely fantastic service for my student house move! Arrived exactly on time and didn’t waste time once he had arrived. Dan at Keltic Light Haulage did an amazing job for our customers, and we absolutely will be using his company again.As a furniture company specialising in discounted designer sofas, we are very picky about the couriers we work with. All of our furniture is sold from stock, and it's often very bulky, heavy, and requires delivery to far-flung corners of the country - in this case Cornwall. We chose Keltic Light Haulage to do some deliveries for us as he had excellent reviews, charged a reasonable price, and was able to do the deliveries in good time. All of our contact with Dan at Keltic was friendly and professional, and he had no problem showing us his ID and insurance when requested. On the day the goods were collected he kept us updated with his arrival time, when he arrived his van was clean, dry and professionally packed with straps and blankets. Dan provided invoices and receipts, and the prices were exactly what we expected. Both customers have since reported back that their deliveries went without a hitch, the goods arrived exactly on time, and the overall experience was excellent. Excellent service that one month after the outstanding service, I still contacted them to thank them again. I highly reccomend Daniel and Keltic Light Haulage. Daniel and his team were very professional, efficient and with great attention to details. Daniel did a thorough assessment of our belongings and was very responsive to questions prior to the move. We moved on a very rainy day, and they came well prepared -- no marks left on the white carpet! They were careful with the furniture and very accomodating with taking on cumbersome garden accesories. I was given Dans card when booking a storage unit. ‘We don’t usually recommend firms but so many people have said how great this guy is we’ve started having his business card in the office’ I was moving locally, Dan and his mate were so professional, worked all day for half the cost quoted by a larger firm. I even queried the bill was correct as I felt I should have paid more. The furniture was not just dropped in the rooms it was placed and set up! Even the garden plants and furniture look as though they’ve been in position always. I will definitely book Keltic Light Haulage again. It is so refreshing to find someone with such a can-do attitude, ready to respond at very short notice, to call ahead of time to check all the details, to have looked up the route several days ahead, to have changed vans at the last minute because of low-hanging branches on the access road to the property, to arrive bang on time at both departure and arrival destinations, to help get all the furniture into place. .. Local house move from storage and flat to our new home. Daniel was very professional, and took great care with moving all our wares. Past experiences with removals have involved a few dents and marks but in this occasion there was no damage at all. Local moves are done on an hourly rate. We were done in less than 4 hours.
