Do you ever look at a picture and think “that’s me?... that doesn’t even look like me” Boudoir was exactly that. I had that exact feeling when I received photos from Kelli because I just couldn’t believe the confidence and elegance that was pouring out of the images. I didn’t believe that was me in the photos as I see myself so differently when I look in the mirror, which has now been changed. I’ve always been one to self criticize and struggled with fully embodying what I was given, which is a whole lot of thickness, BUT I’ve been learning to embrace every curve I was given and work hard for it. I put myself behind the camera to give me that encouragement and confidence I needed to set free of those negative thoughts. It was the most empowering feeling letting go and just allowing myself to feel beautiful! We overly critique ourselves and in the end nothing is going to change except for the mindset. I’m slowly learning to do so and shift my focus on what I LOVE about myself. This year has been a challenge to break down all those insecurities and encourage others to do the same. “Inhale confidence, exhale doubt”

Kelli will make you feel like you’ve known her forever and has you laughing with music playing in the background all while she gives you pointers and confidence boosters throughout the shoot. She really knows how to make you feel comfortable being uncomfortable. It wasn’t an easy thing getting behind the camera which is all the more reason why I needed to do it. We are beyond in love with Kelli! She is an artist, a professional, a team player, a rock star, and a sweetheart. Her art is amazing and it is only made better by what a great person she is. My husband and I hired her to capture our wedding weekend and it was the best choice we made besides marrying each other.
