Lovely nursery with beautifully displayed, top quality plants and unusual plant-related items, many present-worthy. Well-trained, very friendly staff added to the pleasure of the visit. Look out for interesting cultivars developed by Keith Kirsten, such as deep blue Agapanthus and maroon Phygelius. There doesn't seem to be any special label indicating indigenous plants, or perhaps I didn't notice such a useful indicator. Elsewhere yellow labels are used. Despite light shade-netting, a hat or sunbrella is advisable. The unusual restroom made me smile! More...

Kids enjoyed their Suc-cute-lent workshop today. Kept them busy and nurtured their interest in gardening. Not very big but a nice variety of plants and garden needs. A beautiful garden centre with a very wide range of plants, tools and accessories. It is also well stocked. There is something for everyone young and old who has an interest in plants and gardening either outdoor or indoor. It is everything you expect from a garden centre carrying such a famous name.In addition we had coffee and cake at the coffee shop/bar and both the cheese cake and chocolate cake were equally delicious.
