Pretty good place, better than I was expecting for the price and somewhere that I will go again. Rooms are good, clean and everything worked, including decent internet speed. Bar/restaurant is quite good , but I have heard that they can easily be overwhelmed by large groups. Staff were lovely very helpul. My son was poorly, they were very kind to us. We were part of a coach trip..Basic place but spacious rooms. Extra pillows were in our room. My parents stay at this hotel when they visit us as we live in Kegworth and always have a good stay. Our new year plans fell through so we booked for the meal and Elton John tribute evening and it was a fantastic evening!
The food was brilliant and as we pre-ordered the kids were accommodated with different meals (which both exceeded my expectations). The staff were lovely right from our booking through to serving our meals. They were polite, helpful and friendly and lovely towards our 2 children. The entertainment and dj were also good and we had a well needed good night out. Thanks we will be back!! X

Just arrived at 2.30pm, lovely room with everything one needs, very well furnished. Had early meal, 3 courses and really delicious - the beef curry was excellent. JH

We stayed as part of a National Holidays event. There was 3 of us and we had a double bed and what appeared to be a child's single bed. We managed ok with that but the carpet next to the smaller bed was quite dirty, the bathroom had coloured nail varnish spilled down the side of the bath and what appeared to be blood on the wall... The food we were given was a set 3 course meal that contained very little veggie and vegan options. Breakfast on the other hand was better and we were offered veggie sausages. Apart from the above the beds were comfortable and clean, the staff were friendly and the room was well equipped with a hair dryer, kettle, a Bible for those who are into that, and a TV. Meeting new couples and hearing their about their ideal dream wedding. Every couple is different and has a different dream and i love helping making their dreams reality
What inspired you to start your own business?
I have been planning weddings for the past 16 years and I really enjoy helping people bring to life their ideal wedding day

Everyone is unique, so their weddings are unique. from towering cakes to dancing through the hotel to love train
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
We have introduced social distancing ceremonies, sanitation stations throughout the hotel. a one way system so people are not bottle necked in one area. We have also introduced getting married now with a small group of close family and friends and then having a big sit down meal and reception later in the year when restrictions are lifted, and having a blessing instead of a civil ceremony for all those that could not attend.

We can provide a fully services wedding from providing room hire for the ceremony, to the sit down meal to the evening reception or any variation of your desire.
Our team are fully trained in making sure your wedding is perfect for you.
