Got there near six, it wasn't packed at all. Service is typically great. It has a nice interior.
Visited on Fri I believe. I had a brother come into town and he asked me to go back here. The bill was fair for the quality of food.
Super savory. I will be back with my coworkers. Prices are decent for the quality.
Super yummy, family run restaurant, my favorite Indian spot in the city. Lots of vegetarian options. The owners are super nice, engaging and fun.
Great place to eat, so many options and for vegetarians so many great options.. they have multiple locations... Check them out
Casual and delicious. Excited about trying more items.
One of the best Garlic naans I ever had in recent times. Their tandoori chicken appetizer is great too. Try their mango lassi, I felt it's different from the usual lassi served in most Indian restaurants. I would definitely go back there next time when I am in San Francisco area. More...
Excellent Indian and amazing value. This is our favorite Indian in the city. It's authentic and properly spiced. Not only does it taste delicious, but it is an excellent value. The chicken chettinad and lamb Rogan Josh are my favorites. More...
An absolutely delicious Indian restaurant. Anyone and everyone who enjoys Indian food in the slightest owes it to themselves to go to Keeva. Service is great, the owner is nice and clearly invested in her work and service is fast. This is some of the best Indian food I've had outside of India. More...
Hands down the best Chicken kadhai I ever had in SF! The masala was mildly spiced and the chicken was cooked to perfection. The garlic naan was spot on and just the right size, cooked very well. I would go here again and again. More...
It is one of the best Indian restaurants that I have eaten in SF and Berkeley. Their Malai tikka kabab was pretty good. Their vegetarian curries - paneer kadahi and malai kofta were pretty good as well.
One of the best spots in the area. The service was very sociable and kind. It has a nice feel to it. They have a lot of positive reviews for a reason.
You have to get the Naan!
Came in on a Thurs. Looking forward to a return visit. It has a nice atmosphere. Food is like a restaurant in Louisville I liked.
Everything was delicious. Asked for medium spicy and that's what we got. Everyone was happy!!!
Definitely going back.
Very nice service and amazing food. The chicken tikka masala is the best I’ve ever had, mixed meat amazing sauce, the. The food is pretty quick. Huge rice. Perfectly made. Nan so nice but very buttery. Chana I found super spicy despite mild but my wife found it very mild. Fair prices. More...
We went here on strong recommendations from friends and were not disappointed at all. The food was delicious, so was the evening company, but it's something about feeling at home that really made Keeva special. And of course, the host who was gracious and fabulous in every possible way. Definitely get the palak chat and amritsari fish More...
Deserves 8 's!! The service is wonderful because the people who work here are all close, like a great "work family". Rita, the owner is terrificly sweet & welcoming, and the food is better than any we have found in the Sunnyvale/Santa Clara area. You read that right h better than any Indian food we've found in the Santa Clara/Sunnyvale area!!! And that's saying something, as I was with two Indians! After seeing the Maharaja Jewels at the Legion of Honor, it was a perfect ending to a perfect morning! Thanks for having such a GREAT chef, Rita! More...
Really excellent Indian food. Wonderful vegetarian options. Can't wait to go again.

Great food, fair price
Cozy restaurant. Went for a lunch, luch menu is decent, Decent options for veggies. However felt there's too much of oil used in their naan's. If they tone down the amount of oil used in their naan's it will be great. Apart from that, staff is friendly, serving time is pretty quick. More...
Very delicious indian food and a great owner
The food was really delicious. And the staff were friendly. The place was small and ppl had to wait outside for getting the table though!
Best food in town.. Delicious Indian food..
Almost as good as India Garden in Indianapolis, which is high praise.
Absolutely loved the food. One of those few places where the flavours in each preparation are distinct. All curries are not just a version of the tikka masala gravy. The food is slightly spicy ( in a good way ) and very flavoursome. And unlike most other indian restaurants the curry here is not floating in a lot of oil. I highly recommend this place for the quality of Indian food. More...
Love this place. Food is great, company even better !
not only does this lovely restaurant have incredibly delicious Indian food it is beautifully served and the prices are very reasonable. Keeva is my favorite Indian restaurant I've been to in the bay area 10/10 would recommend.medium spice did indeed make me sweat a little and I enjoyed it. More...

The lamb roganjosh was pretty good, daal tadka was decent, service was prompt
Delicious food, interior lacks some cozyness ;-)
Excellent food and service.
Excellent food and very friendly service
This place was amazing! As a stereotypical white guy whose not usually into ethnic food, Keeva was completely different than I was expecting and blew my tastebuds out of the water. They give you three options for curry (the medium was savory but not too spicy) and the garlic naan is to die for. My girlfriend was literally licking the serving dish to get all the sauce. 10/10 would recommend.(Ps ask the owner about “hard chicken”, she will give you a discount) More...
Rita is the best and the food is fantasic! Try the eggplant if you want some smokey deliciousness!
Excellent friendly service. Delicious spicy, generous curries. We enjoyed the vegie korma (has pieces of paneer) and butter chicken. The garlic naan is particularly good. More...
Limited option on Thursday but pretty decent food
Very good food and tea
Great place to eat! Super friendly staff. Great variety of Indian cuisine and the staff is always great at giving us recommendations based on our preferences. The wait for the food does vary but everything is always fresh, haven’t come across a time where we’ve thought things were reheated. One thing I would advise is eat slow, enjoy the food, and watch out for bones of different sizes since they do break apart when they are making and preparing the food. More...
Really tasty Indian food and superb service! I enjoyed their Lamb curry dish
Best Indian food I've had in San Francisco. The okra dopiaza was excellent.
Nice and Fresh food
Simply delicious food each and every time I dine here. I highly recommend this restaurant, and consider it a gem!
Best Indian in the Richmond
The freshest cleanest most authentic delicious Indian food from a restaurant. I had the naan, dal makhni, aloo Gobi, chicken tikka masala, and rice. The dal tasted homemade. The garlic and onion naan was crispy soft tasty! The potato cauliflower was not oily at all. The cauliflower was perfectly cooked. Everything was garnished with fresh cilantro. The chicken was perfectly cooked and the spices were just right. Rice was cooked to perfection where each grain was individual. Fantastic. I will definitely be eating there again. Kudos to the chef! More...
The butter chicken was really, really good. Super friendly staff too.
Most flavorful indian food in the city. Next level service.
Great lunch specials! Excellent service. We will definitely be back here to try their other items.
Best Indian food I had in the country .. a true hidden gem .. must try the classic goat curry ... don’t miss the amritsari fish ... lots of option for vegetarians too .... will return .. More...
Best Indian food I’ve ever had. Can’t wait to go again!
Hara bhara kabab was good.
Best place so far for north indian food in SF.
Wonderful food. Fresh and tasty.
Very nice food. Can be very spicy so make sure you can handle hot food...
Good and nice Indian restaurant. Cozy, comfy, ppl are nice.
Food and service was great. Not many tables though so arrive early.
Most delicious Indian Food in the city, excellent service..
Good tasty food !! Little on the expensive side..but really good taste.
The goat chettinad curry was awesome... Place is kind of small, but food is tasty.
great indian food. masala chai is too gingery but the potato dish! also nann was great. will come back!
So good !! Wonderful service and delicious food !! :-)
The food here was so god damn delicious. I had the chicken tikka masala, paneer, and vegetable biryani. I've found my most flavorful and high quality Indian restaurant. Must go.
Fresh and imaginative dishes.
Neighborhood, where people hug each other, like you are eating at someone's home. Small bowls but enough to feed 3 people. Everything is very tasty and fragrant. Goat meat just falls off the bone. Be careful not to swallow or chew on the bone bits. Beer is light. Half a tandoori chicken is misnomer, more like 4 small pieces of sections, without wings or drumstick. Garlic naan is thin, like pizza thin crust. Warm service. More...
Some of the best Indian food in the Bay area.
It is again proved that sf Indian restaurants are way way better than those restaurants in South Bay.. Palak chat was awesome and paneer curry as well...
Best. End your search now :)
Seekh kabab omg! wow
I've been to a lot of Indian restaurants in SF and this is one of the best. Fresh and tasty without all the oil. Some interesting items on the menu that you won't find at most places. The atmosphere is casual but nice with a colorful artistic decor. Highly recommend. More...
Great Indian good, spicy. Very friendly accomodating staff. Definitely worth the trip if you don't live in the neighborhood
Good food but expensive. Gulab jamuns weren't worth $6!!!
Delicious Indian food.
Delicious food at a good price. Very family feel to the place. I always feel welcome and satisfied.
Great food and great experience
super delicious and nutritious and spicy too . .
Liked the tandoori roti and chicken chettinadu. But the chicken biryani was not so great.

Ordered paneer and kofta dish. Very tasty food with generous overall amount, however, the number of paneer and kofta pieces were quite less than enough. Excellent hospitality.
Very delicious and simple food. loved it. and staff was very friendly.
We stopped by at Keeva on our visit to san fransisco for some urgent work. He decided to have lunch here and food was really delicious. Place was clean and well maintained. Would love to come again. More...
Delicious food, excellent service. Tried samosas (yummy but a bit spicy, which we love). Ordered various curries - also delicious. There, again, you choose your spicy level. Definitely looking forward to our next visit! More...
Pretty warm and cozy place. I was in town and met a few.froemds over dinner here. The food was really good and the hostess was very accommodating to all our needs there. Loved it
This is my favorite spot for Indian delivery. The food is so delicious and I love how the level of spiciness can be changed. Perfect go-to for Indian classics, and their garlic basil naan is amazing. More...
The food is delicous! We tried both the veggie and non-veggie lunch specials. What a great experience of flavors and service at reasonable prices.
Very good food and service, though it is very spicy if you ask for medium spice. If you do not enjoy heavy spice, order mild
So glad that finally Inner Richmond has a decent Indian restaurant. Some dish is a bit too sweet, but they are not shy on spices!
The absolute best Indian food! Can’t be beat! The flavors are phenomenal and the service is perfect. This place is so awesome. Been all over looking for good Indian and nothing beats keeva and their dedication to small batches and the flavors. So yummy! More...
The Lunch specials caught my attention when I was walking by. Fairly cheap by San Francisco standards, and you get sample plates of a few different items instead of just eating one thing. I loved it!.. each item was so different from the other. I ordered some things that I actually can't remember their names, one was chickpeas the other one a mix of different things but each were so unique.
Even the little cabbage salad and cracker bread were great.
I recommend going with someone else, as you can share the lunch special and maybe get one more smaller item. More...
The personnel is super nice and the food is delicious! They're open until quite late (9.30pm) compared to other nearby places, which all seem to close around 8.
Oh joy! A new restaurant on Clement that isn't a hot pot, Asian BBQ, bubble tea, or mediocre Thai place! Had my first dinner there. Food was solid, felt and tasted more homemade with heart than some of the usual American Indian places. I was happy to see that the menu has the usual Indian greatest hits along w some different items (egg curry!). It was also a good sign to me that the menu wasn't overly long: I feel like restaurants with broad menus tend not to execute individual dishes in a distinctive way. My personal preference is for spicy, so next time I'll be sure to ask for my dishes with more heat! Service was friendly and warm, and the team asked us what we thought about each course. Overall, a good meal! I'll be back. So happy to have them in the Inner Richmond!!I'm sorry to see the bad experience in a review below. I could see how a new restaurant like this would still be working out the kinks; however our experience was entirely positive and competent. More...

Custom dishes... No sugar
Great lunch non-veg platter. Chicken masala was fantastic. Ordering extra naan would be a plus
Taste of authentic Indian food with a twist. A much needed place for mouth watering Indian delicacies that this neighborhood needed the most. Don't forget to try their Butter chicken and Dum Biryani. Not to mention everything else. Great staff and service. More...
I absolutely LOVE Indian food and have tried most places in the city, usually only to be disappointed. Thank you for opening up in the Inner Richmond. We need more good places like this!I went here a few months ago when this place had first opened and had a great experience. The owner husband and wife were warm and welcoming and the service was seamless. They gave us a free appetizer to start. We ordered the Lamb Vindaloo and Paneer Tikka Masala (not on the menu -- subbed paneer for chicken) and garlic naan. They didn't bat an eyeless and the substitution about the came out quickly and was incredibly flavorful. No real negatives here other than portions weren't as large as other places I've been for the $$...or maybe I'm just bitter and ate too much to have a substantial amount of leftovers. More...
Really great place to eat. This was my first time eating Indian and the owner went out of his way to be accommodating. Ask about the spice level while making your order. You may want it less or more spicy. Prices are reasonable. We paid $50 for three people and left the restaurant full. More...
I cannot say enough positive things about this little family-run place. We were introduced to it by some friends. Love it. Great Indian food.
Food is awesome! Amritsari fish is a must try dish. Kitchen closes at 2:30 pm. So do order before that.
Some of the best Indian food I've had in SF!
Pretty good Indian food !
Best indian food we've had in SF in a long time!!! Nice Flavor. Delicious!!!
Delicious authentic Indian food. Service is not the best but it's worth it.
Cozy, clean, great servicemen!
Great family restaurant. The staff really cares about you!
Fantastic! They will make it less spicy unless you ask for spicy. They treated us very well. The Indian food selection was great, everything we got was so delicious. The service was excellent, they even gave me a free glass of wine and free veggie tempura! So glad we have an excellent Indian Restaurant in the Richmond now. More...
My cousin told me about this place. One of her friends did the artwork, and she recommended I go here and try the cumin roasted potatoes. And I highly recommend them too! They are absolutely delicious. I don't even need rice. They compliment the other dishes well. Among the three times I've been here, I got the Bang Bang egg curry, the grilled shrimp, and chana masala. The egg curry is delicious! The two eggs are hard boiled in a flavorful, slightly sweet, curry sauce. The grilled shrimp comes with a tiny salad, and are about medium in size. The chana masala is more savory, and darker in color, than the other ones I've had in the past. It's a little on the pricey side. The average entree is around $13.95, including the egg curry. But the food is very delicious. I also recommend getting the mango lassi.I also really like the atmosphere. It's beautifully decorated and the staff really make you feel welcome and at home. I'm so happy for this new addition to the Inner Richmond, and I plan on bringing more of my friends and family here in the future. More...
Real authentic and delicious Indian food beautifully presented. They have all the authentic dishes that no other places in the area serve, and their food is not greasy and heavy.
I have been here multiple times and I have never been disappointed. I love goat and their curry is to die for. The garlic naan is a must for anyone who comes here. You will not be disappointed. They are a small shop so be patient. The food will not disappoint you. More...
The food here is really awesome. Probably the best Indian food I had in USA
Amazing and creative food. The spinach chaat is fantastic!
Amazing food, amazing service! Can't wait to go back!
Fantastic Chicken Tikka Massala. Very authentic!
