I was at my wit's end trying to get my body healthy - reading all kinds of books/blogs and trying every diet (and failing). I was on the hunt to not only find a nutritionist, but a female nutritionist who looked at things holistically and wanted to help clients make a life long change to how they viewed food. I found Stephanie online and really liked her website and her approach to nutrition. The reviews I found about her on other various websites also praised her so I reached out for a consultation and met her in person. She is very welcoming, approachable and full of knowledge. She really listened to my story - my past, what my goals were, what my daily life looked like. My main goal was to eliminate bloat and eat the right kinds of foods to help keep my blood sugar level even. I thought I ate healthy - keto, paleo, dabbled with W30.   She helped me cultivate a plan and after each session, she emailed me a thorough recap with attachments (including recipes) to help me with my goals for the next couple weeks. All my sessions were over the phone, which was convenient for me as I live 45 minutes away from her office. After my sessions with Stephanie - I really became aware that my body is unique. Just because a diet or workout worked for someone else with my ethnicity or worked for my friend, it did NOT necessarily mean it would work for me. She helped me learn to listen to my body and I started to understand how my body reacted to certain foods. I cannot recommend Stephanie enough. Seeing her has been one of, if not the most, beneficial and life-changing investments I've ever made. I started my sessions with her in a nearly broken state, and with quite a few physical ailments as a result of poor nutrition. Not only did I check off every goal on my sizable list, but I feel dramatically better. I started seeing Stephanie early this year when I realized I needed a lifestyle change and I am SO glad that I reached out to her! ! I was constantly feeling sluggish/tired, unfocused at work and just really like a POS, to be honest. I had no desire to be active on the weekends or workout after work - I am 26 years old and have always played sports and exercised but really got out of it the last couple years; on top of that I have never been a healthy eater and knew that was probably where many of my problems were stemming from. Anyways, after working with Stephanie on the 3-month program I have seen such an improvement, its amazing. She was so easy to work with and made everything so manageable. The grocery store always stressed me out and I felt like every time I was ready to make a "healthy" change I never knew where to start. I would throw out everything in my pantry and spend hundreds of dollars stocking up on items that I had no idea what to do with. Now I am not only educated about what I am buying, but I actually love cooking!! Also, side note - but this was one of my main goals - my skin (acne) has ALWAYS been an issue for me. I found Stephanie when I was at time where I was very frustrated with my adult acne and desperate for a change. I wanted to find someone that believed in a holistic approach to fix my problems from the inside out, as dermatologists and gynecologists proved ineffective. Over the course of about seven months, she helped me implement subtle yet meaningful changes in my diet and in the supplements I was taking that not only helped to clear my skin, but to increase my energy and lose weight in the process. The incremental changes never felt overwhelming and it was truly a lifestyle change that happened in a manageable way. She helped me transition off of the pill to avoid some of the negative side effects that are typically common with doing so and was extremely knowledgeable about the female body. If I could give her 10 stars, I would. Working with Stephanie changed my health for the better - relieving both my digestive and hormonal issues - and helped me understand my body in ways I never have before. Not only is Steph is a wealth of knowledge and a true professional, she is also fun to work with. After struggling with digestive issues for years and getting nowhere with other treatments, Steph helped me understand my digestive system, rebuild healthy gut bacteria, and identify the root cause of my issues. I haven't had a stomach ache in months (which is a far cry from my old normal). So grateful! Additionally, when I decided to go off the pill, Steph worked with me to help me understand my body and balance my hormones. I began seeing Stephanie in September 2018 when I was having fertility/"female" issues. My reproductive endocrinologist recommended Stephanie to me as a great nutritional support during my fertility journey. All I can say is that Stephanie was just that and SO much more. When I first walked into Stephanie's office I was greeted with warmth and care. Stephanie took the time to hear my concerns and struggles and we devised a very thorough plan that she guided me through every step of the way. Stephanie not only looks at the nutrition piece (just one piece of the puzzle) but also looks at the whole person including stress management, exercise routine and entire lifestyle. At every session Stephanie gave me key advice, sound recommendations and suggestions that suited my specific needs to help achieve my goals and to potentially conceive a baby. Any lifestyle changes that Stephanie offered & that I made served a distinct purpose and were given in a timely manner. I never once felt like I couldn't make a change to fit into my life at a particular time. We had open email communication and Stephanie was always responsive to any questions or concerns I had. I worked with Stephanie for a few months, working through various issues. I couldn’t be happier with the results! Stephanie was able to work with me to find the root cause of a very difficult medical issue. My thyroid! While this is not her specialty, she has a vast amount of knowledge on the topic. She knew what questions to ask and how to read test results. After having spent over a year going to medical drs, allergists, dermatologist and therapists, I credit Stephanie with being concerned enough about my well-being to help in any way she could. I started working with Stephanie earlier this year after my girlfriend had a positive experience with her. I have used other weight loss/ health programs before and found short term results. I found with those programs , I would have to limit the amount of food and sacrifice taste to see any results. Stephanie introduced me to a more balanced diet that fit my lifestyle and needs. Within the first few sessions, we were able to cut out years of bad habits and replace them with feasible options. Each session I was able to gain more knowledge of not only what I was eating, what was it contained and whether or not it truly served my needs.Without making drastic changes, I was able to implement simple, whole food substitutions and see results. I came to see Stephanie after I had met my wit's end. A year and a half earlier, I had fainted off a stationary bike at the gym from abdominal pain. After several ER visits, multiple followups with my OBGYN, and even ovarian cyst surgery, I found out I had very bad endometriosis. I was suddenly faced with having a hysterectomy at age 32. I knew there must be another solution to organ removal, so I did some research and found that some women have had success reducing or reversing their symptoms with a change of diet. I wasn't about to leave any stone unturned, so I reached out to Stephanie for some help.I've had many "aha" moments with Stephanie, but the most important was a new lens through which to look at my diagnosis: she presented the idea that endometriosis is more closely related to an autoimmune disorder because of how the body reacts to the displaced endometrial cells, so if we treat it as such we can get somewhere.With that direction, we holistically looked at the other issues plaguing me and drew parallels that my body has an issue with its inflammatory response. So, Stephanie set forth a plan for an anti-inflammatory diet, healing my gut and detoxing my liver to help my body heal itself--all through nutrition. Along the way I learned how to build balanced meals, how to choose foods that will support my immune system, and how to structure my day so that I get the maximum amount of nutrition and energy.When I first came to Stephanie, I had been bleeding for over 120 days straight. Only one month into finding the right medication, committing to Stephane's guidance, and sticking to an exercise regimen, I stopped bleeding. By the end of my three months of sessions with her, not only were my endometriosis symptoms reduced to the point where they were almost unrecognizable, but I had lost weight, slept better, had more energy and stamina, and my other medical issues had subsided. My nutritional goals were to lose weight/fat, eliminate cravings for sugary carbs, and maintain a clean diet. Stephanie helped me by recommending supplements and practical advise inspired by Ayurvedic wisdom that corresponded with my needs. She was able to offer me useful advice to adapt these tips to my chaotic work schedule and was also understanding for scheduling of our consultations when my work schedule changed.

By incorporating advice including recipes in everyday life i was not only able to lose weight/fat I've kept it off (from 199lbs to 178lbs) Maintaining a consistent weight. Even when I "stray off path" I'm able to go back to a clean diet. Now I can avoid fast food even when traveling and avoid processed food.
Stephanie is very understanding and positive. I recommend her consultations for anyone struggling with diet and/or health issues. She will provide useful advice and practical implements adapted to their needs.

Stephanie has helped me in so many ways and not just with my nutritional goals but also emotionally with stress management and blood sugar balance. I used to consider myself a healthy person about six months ago, but I knew I had to stop ignoring certain GI symptoms and negative habits and eating patterns. My stomach was a wreck and even though I have a BS in Nutrition, I was never taught how I should eat personally for my body type and lifestyle. Stephanie helped me create concrete goals and realize phenomenal progress immediately. She also tailored her advice to the changes and suggestions that would fit my lifestyle and routine best. I have so many tools now that I can use when I feel myself slipping into a negative pattern. Wow do I feel good! When I met Stephanie, I was feeling overwhelmed, hopeless, frustrated and completely out of control. Our initial meeting squashed those feelings instantly. I left her office hopeful and energized, and all it took was finding someone who would listen to me. Stephanie listened to me, learned who I was, and gave me the tools that I needed to get control over my health. She didn’t try to jam me into a fixed box. I worked with Steph for 6 months and it completely changed my life! She is incredibly knowledgeable and supportive. Working with Stephanie has been an incredible and truly life changing experience. I was raised in a family who often used carbs and sugary foods to cope with any unhappiness or life stress . For as long as I can remember, I have struggled with body image and binge eating. Most of the people I was around had no idea that food addiction had such a strong hold on my life. I hid it well by working out constantly and eating in private. Nobody knew that after a hard day, I would be at home eating a whole pizza and possibly two huge cinnamon rolls. I hated myself and the cycles I would fall into. Last summer I broke my leg and didn’t have the ability to work out as usual. However, I continued my horrible eating patterns and gained about 15 extra pounds. I knew I needed to change both internally and externally. I needed to learn how to be healthy. I also knew I needed to learn how to eat to actually fuel my body. I began losing weight by cutting out gluten and dairy. I still was pretty addicted to carbs and sugar though, and eventually plateaued. I came across Stephanie’s info on Thumbtack and scheduled a free 30 minute consultation. As soon as I started talking with her, I knew we were on the same page, and that she would be a huge help in getting ultimately healthy. Stephanie approaches everything holistically and sees the big life picture. We started by writing down my goals- 1) Lose 10 more pounds, 2) Stop binge eating-especially on the weekends, 3) Learn how to maintain and live a healthy lifestyle. Stephanie customized everything according to my schedule and personal needs. We took everything step by step, and therefore I never felt overwhelmed. She gave me the needed tools at the appropriate times in order to truly succeed. I was encouraged to try to new foods and delicious healthy recipes. Additionally, anytime I needed help or had a question, I would email Stephanie and she would respond promptly and thoroughly! After 8 sessions: I lost 12 pounds, (making that a total of 35 pounds lost altogether!), stopped binge eating, cut out sugar, gained muscle, and am the healthiest, both- physically and mentally that I’ve ever been. I worked with Stephanie for only 3 months, and, in that short time, I made huge changes that will impact me for a lifetime. I came to Stephanie wanting to come off the pill after 10+ years. I was extremely nervous about going off the pill and having acne return with a vengeance. I have hypothyroidism and also wanted to learn how to better support my thyroid health through diet. Stephanie had a step by step plan tailored to me, and I never felt overwhelmed or that any one step was too drastic or unattainable. I immediately started to see the positive impact of the changes, which was so encouraging and kept me going. I found Stephanie on Thumbtack as I sought help for my health concerns of perimenopause symptoms, weight gain, migraines, low energy and managing stress. I knew that Stephanie was the right Health Coach and Nutritionist for me during the initial free consultation! Stephanie has a compassionate approach of providing support to make changes that become healthy habits that can be sustained long-term. I really benefited from learning about the importance of proper and adequate sleep as a foundation to improving my health. Stephanie helped me by breaking down my health goals into actionable “baby steps” that were attainable. As I incrementally reached my goals I gained more confidence in making lasting changes for my health. I loved that Stephanie summarized our sessions and her recommendations in an email. I’ve printed out all of these session notes and recommendations (attachments) and created a binder that I continually reference.I’m very proud of my accomplishments in working with Stephanie! In 6 months I attained my weight loss goal of 20 pounds! I’m getting restful sleep and waking up feeling well rested. My energy has increased and I now can’t miss my daily walks of 30 minutes+ and am incorporating strength training. I rarely get a migraine headache and I’m so happy about that! Over the past 6 months, Stephanie has been a coach, source of inspiration, friend and magical problem solver in my life. As a busy professional and mother of two, I knew that I needed a resource to help me lose the last bit of weight from my 2nd child and help me achieve a healthy mental and physical state to sustain my busy life. Even before I met Stephanie, I was a generally a healthy person when it comes to diet and exercise, but she really made a difference in my health at a time where I could have made every excuse not to. Every time I came to her with an obstacle on my path to wellness, she was incredibly understanding and empathetic, BUT presented a very well thought-out solution with tons of information on why this would work or why I should make this change. Stephanie and I have been working together for the past three months which just seemed to fly by!! After establishing some direction in our initial free consultation, we got to work. Stephanie is SO knowledgeable and is armed with an abundance of diverse modalities of treatment. She was able to adapt my treatment plan to choices that fit my lifestyle. I have added supplements that I have never been able to take without side effects, like probiotics, Omega 3's and methylaized B vitamins. I believe I have had such a great response to the supplements because she suggested blood work with my internist to determine exactly were I was and does extensive research on any product she recommends.
I think the best thing I can say about Stephanie is she empowered me and armed me with information so I can take better care of myself. I felt nurtured, supported and heard each and every interaction I had with her and I look forward to a long relationship with her!!!!

Over the past 6 months, Stephanie has been a coach, source of inspiration, friend and magical problem solver in my life. As a busy professional and mother of two, I knew that I needed a resource to help me lose the last bit of weight from my 2nd child and help me achieve a healthy mental and physical state to sustain my busy life. Even before I met Stephanie, I was a generally a healthy person when it comes to diet and exercise, but she really made a difference in my health at a time where I could have made every excuse not to. During the Keenist three-month program, Stephanie offered expert-level knowledge as well as tangible ways to break down my wellness goals. Her blended approach of both nutrition and lifestyle counseling helped to uncover and address some of my issues around food that I had been unable to get past on my own. During our sessions, she asked insightful questions and provided customized strategies for me to use so that I could focus on whichever aspects of my health and wellness were most pressing for me. After every interaction, I came away with accessible hacks and suggestions to implement. Stephanie has helped me in so many ways and not just with my nutritional goals but also emotionally with stress management and blood sugar balance. I used to consider myself a healthy person about six months ago, but I knew I had to stop ignoring certain GI symptoms and negative habits and eating patterns. My stomach was a wreck and even though I have a BS in Nutrition, I was never taught how I should eat personally for my body type and lifestyle. Stephanie helped me create concrete goals and realize phenomenal progress immediately. She also tailored her advice to the changes and suggestions that would fit my lifestyle and routine best. I have so many tools now that I can use when I feel myself slipping into a negative pattern. My nutritional goals were to lose weight/fat, eliminate cravings for sugary carbs, and maintain a clean diet. Stephanie helped me by recommending supplements and practical advise inspired by Ayurvedic wisdom that corresponded with my needs. She was able to offer me useful advice to adapt these tips to my chaotic work schedule and was also understanding for scheduling of our consultations when my work schedule changed.By incorporating advice including recipes in everyday life i was not only able to lose weight/fat I've kept it off (from 199lbs to 178lbs) Maintaining a consistent weight. I found Stephanie on Thumbtack as I sought help for my health concerns of perimenopause symptoms, weight gain, migraines, low energy and managing stress. I knew that Stephanie was the right Health Coach and Nutritionist for me during the initial free consultation!

Stephanie has a compassionate approach of providing support to make changes that become healthy habits that can be sustained long-term. I really benefited from learning about the importance of proper and adequate sleep as a foundation to improving my health. Stephanie helped me by breaking down my health goals into actionable “baby steps” that were attainable. As I incrementally reached my goals I gained more confidence in making lasting changes for my health. I loved that Stephanie summarized our sessions and her recommendations in an email. I’ve printed out all of these session notes and recommendations (attachments) and created a binder that I continually reference.

In 6 months I attained my weight loss goal of 20 pounds! I’m getting restful sleep and waking up feeling well rested. My energy has increased and I now can’t miss my daily walks of 30 minutes+ and am incorporating strength training. I rarely get a migraine headache and I’m so happy about that! I also feel that my hormones are more balanced and PMS symptoms have been reduced. I’m also managing stress more effectively and the proper supplementation has helped immensely in improving my health overall.

I worked with Stephanie for only 3 months, and, in that short time, I made huge changes that will impact me for a lifetime. I came to Stephanie wanting to come off the pill after 10+ years. I was extremely nervous about going off the pill and having acne return with a vengeance. I have hypothyroidism and also wanted to learn how to better support my thyroid health through diet. Stephanie had a step by step plan tailored to me, and I never felt overwhelmed or that any one step was too drastic or unattainable. I immediately started to see the positive impact of the changes, which was so encouraging and kept me going.  Stephanie is extremely knowledgeable, professional and I always looked forward to meeting with her. I still refer to her post appointment emails and handouts.  They are such a great resource.I have been off the pill for more than three months. My period came back right on schedule. The seed was planted when I was living in Sydney and began seeing a holistic health practitioner because of digestive issues and hormonal imbalances. It was the best decision I’ve ever made because not only did she help me heal myself using food as medicine but also she opened my eyes to the world of integrative health care which treats the root cause, not just the symptoms. I became so enthralled by holistic health that I decided to go to nutrition school and while there, I started a blog as a way to share my passion for healthy food and the knowledge I was learning in my courses. Once I finished school and moved to Denver, I launched my nutrition consulting practice.
