She is one of 100 world wide Hurley Associates and the only one in Ohio. Kim also photographs events, high school senior and family sessions and creates fine art from her travels and city photos.

What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
Connecting with your client. The session should be about him/her not about me. I want every person I work with to leave feeling special and loving their images.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
What are you using the images for? What do you want the photos to say about you? When do you want to start?
What do you love most about your job?
Seeing the beauty in every single person! So many people I photograph "hate" having their picture taken. I do my best to help them forget about the camera so they look their best and their most confident and approachable self comes through.
What inspired you to start your own business?
We've always been a family of entrepreneurial. Everyone works for someone. I'd rather work for myself :)
Why should our clients choose you?
I'm always learning. I will never stop learning. I feel if a photographer thinks he/she knows it all and isn't going to get better, then you should look elsewhere!
