I contacted Kat to do a maternity session for my first pregnancy... My husband and I couldn't be happier with the results! KCM set up everything at the location and we even were able to include our two dogs in our photos. Kat made sure we got what we wanted and incorporated all our little props in the pictures. We had the pleasure of having Kat take our Family Portrait/Save the Date pictures. She was so amazing when it came to communication (giving us multiple options of locations, always answering questions, making sure we understood everything, etc. ). We ended up going to Jessie's Grove in Lodi, it was such a beautiful setting, she definitely found something that went with our winery scene, but also different from where our wedding location. I found Kat via her Instagram and fell in love with her work so I did a little stalking but found only one yelp review (this was back in March) so I was a little worried because you automatically assume that if there are no reviews, the work can't be that great. WRONG! I decided to reach out to her & book both my maternity/newborn photos along with a mini session for my little one's year birthday. Long story short, my princess came a month early so we had to cut the maternity session but OMG, the newborn session was AMAZING! Kat came to our home, made us feel completely natural and while our little one was fussy, you would have never known it from the pics Kat took. Please note that her work & the photos are not cheap so if that's what you're looking for, go elsewhere. If you want QUALITY over quantity, get all the feels from your photos & appreciate that you are purchasing an INVESTMENT of your loved ones - book Kat immediately. We hired Kat to do our wedding photos because of her beautiful photography and affordable prices! Kat has gone above and beyond on our engagement shoot and I can't wait to see what she does for our wedding. She made my fiancé and I very comfortable during the shoot; giving us go to poses, all the while having a fun light hearted attitude. Katherine is amazing! She made me feel at ease with our initial meet. Her prices are very reasonable and her packages are customizable depending on your needs. We took advantage of the engagement shoot that came with our package and it was a good turn out considering weather at the time changed our plans. She made it easy and fun. We made sacrifices for amazing shots (Muir Overlook in April can be hit or miss which we got both ends of the spectrum) and she reminded me they would be worth it haha.
