What do you love most about your job?
I am a people person and I really enjoy watching a business grow! Being a small part in the growth of a business makes me feel like your partner. I try to maintain a friendly, comfortable atmosphere for my clients and not the dreaded "accountant" person most people perceive.
Being able to play a small part in helping someone be successful in business or to relieve the stress of doing your taxes is what bring me true joy in my career.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I have worked for various accounting firms and seen the attitude or lack of compassion from many of my bosses. They like to confuse the clients and not explain everything in detail.
I wanted to show everyone that we are not the stereotypical "boring" accountants and we're not out to make you think we are better than you! I try to explain everything in "common" terms and I am not happy unless my clients feel I exceeded their expectations.
Why should our clients choose you?
Founder and President, Kimberly Knippel is an Enrolled Agent (EA) who has over 20 years of public accounting experience. Kim is a QuickBooks Pro Advisor and very proficient in Quicken and other financial software products. She has a great deal of experience in preparing tax returns and financial statements for all types of businesses and entities. Kimberly works with clients to develop and improve their business. Her emphasis is on quality work with a personalized service approach.
