Q&As

The sites I create are easy to navigate and use Wordpress themes that are responsive (mobile-friendly). There is also good SEO functionality built in and the site owner can easily tweak this themselves (it's not rocket science). With full "loginability" for the site owner to create other user accounts, make text changes and upload pictures, videos, etc. I'm confident of being able to create a very practical and effective site for my customers.

Are you planning to sell online? If so, how many products? What merchant arrangements do you have? What sort of content do you need to put on the site, lots of images and videos for example? Any preferences for colour, style, layout and so on? Do you already have a corporate identity of some sort I can work with? What is your level of IT capability - I can manage things on your behalf that you don't have the time, skills or inclination to do yourself? What about advertising, do you need to run an Adwords campaign or similar? And also what about hosting and domain names, do you need me to provide these too? These are some of the key questions I'd ask.

I enjoy helping a wide range of businesses in all sorts of sectors to promote themselves online, I most often work with small accommodation providers, one-man-band consultancy businesses and such like. On any given day I can be dealing with web site security issues, managing a marketing campaign or searching the web for an elusive font style, and no two days are ever the same!

I was doing web work on intranets for larger companies and realised I had developed skills that the small business marketplace would benefit from.

I think most customers would say I am reliable and honest, and can almost always fix whatever problem they are experiencing, and if I can't, I know a man who can :)
