I honestly dont even know where to start. My experience with Katy has hands down down been the most amazing experience! Throughout the entire process of my engagement and wedding photos, Katy was nothing short of kind, professional, and genuine. Her warmth and talent made my husband and I so comfortable and helped shake any camera shy feelings we had! There was never a moment of doubt that we were in the best hands. Our photos were beyond our hopes and dreams! Katy expertly captured the essence of the relationship between my husband and I in a way I had never expected! Hiring a photographer was definitely an overwhelming experience, which was something that I've never done before, since a cousin of mine is also a professional photographer. ..but one day I came across Katy's profile and I fell in love with her pictures, there was just something that stood out to me, something that made me keep coming back to her...I can say upon first meet and greet, she was incredibly nice, even though it was a little awkward for me lol. She was really intreseted in getting to know me, who I was as a person, what my passions and goals were in order to have the best outcome from the photos. She answered in a timely manner, and was always open to any suggestions that I might've had. I also mentioned that I wanted the photos completed in a short period of time, to release on my birthday, and she somehow mangaged to get it done! The pictures came out beautifully, and the quality of work, considering how short of a time that she's been in this field, is A+++. We hired Katy to be our wedding photographer and she did an amazing job! We also had an engagement shoot included in our wedding package which was really fun. It was a great way for us to get to know each other, which made working with her on our wedding day that much more special. She is very professional and does a great job making you feel comfortable in front of the camera. She was also great at corralling my wild family for family photos! Not an easy task. The photos turned out amazing. Her style is gorgeous! When we received our photos, the presentation was also beautiful. She put our photos on a custom wooden USB drive and included a sweet gift too. When I first contacted Katy I expected a couple days before she replied to my email but to my surprise Katy replied in less than 24 hours and I was SUPER impressed! We met at Starbucks to have our first official meeting and I’ve never felt more comfortable with a photographer! It felt like meeting an old friend! Katy did both of my children's senior pictures. They are beautiful, and I will always treasure them. She did many different poses with different props and outfits for each of them, and for a very reasonable price. She also completed a contract project for my husband, consisting of around 500 photographs in a intricate collage. He had a lot of random ideas and she was able to handle his wishes professionally and create a magnificent piece. She then framed the project beautifully. Katy created the winning design for this year's Rendezvous in the Park Music and Arts and Festival. Over the past year I had the pleasure of working with her to adapt her design to be used in the variety of Rendezvous marketing products, from our poster, to bookmarks, our web and newspaper ads, to ads for magazines and newsletters.
