We had the pleasure of having Katie as our wedding photographer this past weekend. I knew as soon as I saw her beautiful work that I had to have her photograph our big day. We were nervous about being photographed before our engagement shoot but Katie kept us engaged and laughing. She made the whole experience so relaxed and natural. When our wedding day came, there were no more worries, and we felt very comfortable being photographed. Our venue had a tight timeline for photos and she made sure that we got all our desired shots and a few last minute extras in that time!I can't say enough great things about her work. We were absolutely blown away by our engagement photos and the wedding photos we have seen so far. They are perfect in every way and you can tell Katie has such passion for her work. I attended one of Katie's workshops earlier this year, and after experiencing how attentive she was to each attendee's learning experience both during the workshop and following the workshop, I knew I had to book a 1:1 mentor session with her to dive in deeper! She tailored my session with her exactly to my needs - the things I was dying to learn from her! Katie's genuine and transparent nature made me feel comfortable asking questions to gain the most from my time with her. Katie recently photographed my wedding in February 2019 and did an amazing job! Leading up to the wedding, Katie went above and beyond answering any questions or concerns. Being my first time hiring a photographer and planning my own wedding, I was very stressed and felt overwhelmed with the whole process and timeline of the wedding day; however, Katie was there to help! My fiance and I had never taken professional photos when we had Katie take our engagement photos. I was immediately drawn to her because of her experience shooting film photography and she did not disappoint! She gave us clear directions on what to do while also letting us be ourselves. Katie made us feel comfortable and we immediately trusted her advice and opinions. We would highly recommend Katie for any of your photography needs. We first met her at our friends wedding as she was their photographer. She showed me some photos from her camera screen and without any editing they were so amazing and artistically done I knew she had to be my wedding photographer - I wasn’t even engaged at this point. She was the first person I contacted when we set the date for our wedding. Our engagement photo shoot was so fun because of her and she even stayed for the sunset to ensure we got the photos we wanted. I also booked a surprise wedding boudoir photo shoot for my fiancé with her and she instantly made me feel so comfortable with her professionalism. The photos turned out breathtaking. For our wedding she was on time, prepared, and great with orchestrating our very large wedding party and family members to ensure perfect photos. I was confident with Katie right from our first meeting! She had a great attitude and confidence about her talent when we began to talk about our engagement photos and ideas for the wedding. My husband and I have had the privilege to work with Katie on multiple occasions, the biggest being our wedding. April 14th 2018 was the day of the ice storm and for many brides this would be devastating. Pictures to me was so important to me and Katie knew that. With such wonderful spirits and calm words of encouragement she got through the day with us with such grace. Not only were the pictures we were limited too beautiful, she made everyone feel so comfortable. With about 120 family members she organized and patiently took picture after picture. My Husband and I worked with Katie on a dreamy, romantic Oregon coast shoot and I couldn’t be more in love with the photos. If I could give Katie twice as many stars, I would! I have had the privilege of being photographed by Katie twice as she photographed my sister’s wedding 6 months before my own wedding. At my sister’s wedding, I was blown away by Katie’s talent and professionalism. She is a fine art photographer and I loved her unique esthetic immediately (and I’d already spent about a year trying to find a photographer). I immediately contacted her, hoping she could help me out! Not only was Katie able to travel with us to our destination wedding, she and her best friend Erika were so incredibly accommodating to us in many ways. I am not a photogenic person at all, so I was shocked to get hundreds of images from her that I LOVED! There weren’t any that I didn’t like, and I’m pretty picky. Katie is also very efficient, both at the event and getting pictures back very quickly. A few people from our wedding party commented that she worked so quickly and efficiently, and I agree. As someone who doesn’t like being photographed much, she made the whole process fly by. I was also surprised by how many pictures she was able to send us! I am so happy I had Katie as our photographer for our wedding. Her talent and energy is incredible!! My husband and I are not use to getting our photos taken and Katie completely made us feel at ease. She came prepared with a list of photos we requested to make sure she had all the shots covered. She has such a great eye for detail. Many of the photos we have framed in our house are the artistic and styled shots she took. Katie is a dedicated, talented and passionate photographer. I hired her for my engagement, boudoir and wedding - she was fabulous for all occasions.
