As an officiant/celebrant/minister I have worked with 1700+ photographers during VERY intimate moments in sometimes challenging environments. Katie, of Katie Marie Photography, did a stellar job this last week of working in BRIGHT sunshine never once stepping "into" the space where the couple made their covenant. Katie, there are not enough amazing words to describe your work. The natural talent you have, to the comfort you bring your clients (who you make feel like family) is just incredible. I never doubt that you will create these moments that will last a lifetime and showcase our love so perfectly. My fiance and I woke up to an email that our full engagement session was sent to us and I RAN to get my laptop and together we watched the video, and looked at the pictures in bed. 10/10 recommend. Katie has been doing family photos for us since she started photography, and every experience with her is more than great.
We hired her for our wedding and I couldn’t be happier with our experience. She does not stop until you get the shots you want. My heart races when she tells me she’s sending me sneak peeks because I know they’re going to blow me away. She goes above and beyond to make sure your photos are amazing. & She’s more than just a photographer, she fixed my hair when needed, touched up my makeup, she laced up my dress when no one else could figure it out, played with my kids when they were fussing. (Very patient with kids btw- mine are crazy and she still always gets the shots of them)
She’s so passionate about what she does and you can see it in her work. To sum up her work in one word - PRICELESS. You will not be disappointed!

where can i start, i ended up booking katie on super short notice and she was able to accommodate my available date (yay).
now onto pricing..great, esp compared to others and how many edited pics you get .
now onto katie herself: shes lovely , funny and loves dogs(which is amazing if you have a dog and need your dog in your pics)
i think if you are looking to book her obviously you like the type of pictures you get and she makes sure you get the pictures you want.
and most importantly i felt like i wasnt another person , another couple (i think with bigger photographers it can feel like you are just another person in line ).
my only issue is email response is very slow but...but what can you do, i think its the trade off of having a more personable photographer experience vs working with bigger companies/ photographers

We had the joy of having Katie with us during our wedding journey. The moment we got engaged I started researching photographers on instagram. It was by fluke that her name came up first on the list. I didn't look at reviews and didn't know of someone or a friend who had her as a photographer. I just absolutely loved her photos. They stood out and they had something about them that just caught my attention. The day we decided to have her as our photographer was the greatest decision we made for our wedding. She is reliable, dedicated, passionate and absolutely FUN!! She is a positive person who has never uttered one ounce of dislike or complaint about anything. Did I mention she works hard at what she does? Your not getting someone who comes to shoot - leaves - and that's it. Your getting someone who is personable, outgoing and is amazing at what she does. My fiancé and I had a wonderful experience with Katie for our engagement shoot! She made it so easy to be comfortable with each other and with her in front of the camera! Katie is super easy to get along with and talk to! She really knows how to give you what you want.
