Katie was amazing and was exactly what we were looking for in a photographer! She was such a calming presence and we felt totally at ease. I was not someone who enjoyed the wedding planning process (at all) - Katie was able to provide me with some helpful suggestions and she was so patient with my delays in mapping out the day and timelines. My husband was so pleased with the balance we struck of getting all the key photos and having plenty of time to socialize with our guests at cocktail hour. I met Katie at work. She shot my wedding in Mt. Vernon, Baltimore. She did a great job. She was very pleasant to work with. She did a great job capturing the moment and she also did a great job capturing details of the wedding like flowers, rings, and scenery. I met Katie while in Graduate school in Baltimore, Maryland and have worked with her three times over the past few years. We hired her to take my maternity and newborn photos when I was pregnant with my first child, and recently had a family portrait session with her . She's become my go-to photographer in the area! Katie is responsive and accommodating with scheduling...we shot our maternity shoot bright and early to capture the morning sunrise, I think she got to my house around 6am! During all of our shoots she's been professional and easy to work with, suggesting poses but also capturing candid family moments. She was patient and sweet with my toddler daughter and was able to ease some smiles out of her. We got sneak peak images the same or next day which is so fun and makes us even more excited for the full gallery. She had a quick turn around on the full gallery too and her photos are just amazing! Even after the photos were delivered, I wanted a black and white version of one of the photos and she got that for me with no issues. I had to opportunity to hire Katie for shooting some formal family portraits, and we were not disappointed. Her classy style was what we were looking for in a timeless and memorable portrait. She was very personable and easy to work with, and we did not feel rushed like other photographers. She truly made us feel comfortable in front of the camera. In terms of scheduling, we were very busy at the time and had a tight schedule, but she able to work around us. After the shoot, her proofs arrived in a very timely fashion, and were very accessible online. Many of the shots exceeded my expectations and made it very difficult to select just a few.I would highly recommend Katie for any intimate function. I already had to a couple family and friends.
