I don't know how many reviews I read or how much research I did before deciding on a photographer for our wedding day- Ladies, trust me when I tell you that Katie Barnes is the only choice. She is patient, detailed and incredibly talented. She'll do whatever it takes to get that perfect shot in perfect lighting. My entire bridal party was so impressed with the ease she cast upon the entire day. I cannot thank Katie enough. This review is long overdue, but I just finally had a chance to go through all of our wedding pictures. We are so pleased with how they turned out. Katie was wonderful to work with. She took time to really try to get to know us as a couple and get to know our family and friends. She arrived early for our wedding and stayed past her contracted time. She did a wonderful job! When looking for an engagement & wedding photographer Kathleen E Photography immediately caught my eye. I particularly loved her artistic and natural style. After getting my engagement pictures back, she did not disappoint! Katie is such a genuine person, who absolutely adores her job and that reflects in her quality work! She made my fiancé and I feel so relaxed as we moved around various locations in Sioux Falls. She had some "teasers" up on Facebook within a week of the shoot and sent over the flash drive of the originals very quickly. Her talent truly speaks for itself. I highly recommended Katie! More...

Katie did newborn photos for our baby boy and they turned out great! She was flexible with changing the dates when he was born almost a week late and was willing to do the photos at our home, although we ended up doing them at the studio. During the session she was open to our ideas and made sure to capture some family shots. Unlike most newborn photographers, she provided us with a flash drive of the images so we didn't have to decide on our favorites. Overall a great experience, definitely worth the investment, and I highly recommend her. More...
