July 2018: We would recommend Kate to anyone wanting to transform initial ideas and potential venue into a well organised, imaginative, smooth running, beautifully realised and calmly managed wedding event. She has an air of assurance born out of attention to detail and good management. Over a period of 4 months Kate worked with us to develop our initial thinking about a wedding that would be inclusive and informal in style, whilst ensuring that guests were well catered for. Our wedding was the coming together of two families who had both experienced bereavement, and we wanted a large celebratory event in which friends and family could all feel relaxed and positive. When we were unsure if the wedding venue was large enough, we relied on Kate's judgement. When we felt the initial catering costs were too high, Kate found an alternative in Eccles which worked wonderfully. Kate has excellent working relationships with florists, draper, lighting provider, cake makers and a brilliant mobile bar setup, from which we benefited. The day was hot, and most guests spent time outdoors, with ice cream from the van, street food from the three different stalls inside. The hay bales and blankets were a hit. And the bar. Kate found us the perfect venue for our wedding! When we contacted Kate we had already spent ages trawling round lots of different venues but just couldn't find one that was quite right for us. Kate listened to the things that were important to us and quickly recommended a venue that ticked every box. When we went to view the venue we knew it was the place for us and we were delighted to book one of the last available dates for 2015. Kate is not only amazing, she is a wonderful organiser, patient, knowledgeable and experienced, with a good sense of humour to boot. She did everything that I wanted, without exception, advising when I was dithering and on occasion seemed to know just what I wanted before I did! On the day she organised absolutely everything and everyone. I didn't need to do a thing, just enjoy my day, which we did very much. Thanks so so much for everything you did to make our wedding as memorable and fantastic as it was. Planning a wedding in 3 months would of been impossible without Kate's help. Kate took away all of the stress by listening to what we wanted and giving us various options to chose from - the florist, lighting, music choices were all in our eyes perfect! The day also ran smoothly and as far as Chris and I were concerned there were no hiccups (so if there were Kate hid/dealt with them well) I would 100 % recommend Kate and her team to help plan your wedding and I will definitely be using her again if ever I need an events planner. Where do I even begin? Safe to say it’s difficult to put into words everything that Kate has brought to our Wedding Day!
She’s been involved from start to finish, a full 3 years and has been an absolute superstar! From beginning to end she has been there to help us through each and every stage of planning; whether bringing her own ideas to the table or helping bring ours to life she has proved invaluable. Her little black book provided a number of amazing suppliers who all added something special to our day.
As well as bringing so much to the build-up, her coordination of the day was fantastic too. I was able to spend a blissful morning getting ready safe in the knowledge that Kate would have everything in hand. Kate presided over three flawless room turnarounds and ensured the entire day ran smoothly. All in all we couldn’t have had the perfect day without her…. Even the groom was impressed! Kate is amazing. She crafted the most beautiful wedding for me and my husband, seemingly conjuring the impossible! She carefully listened to what we wanted (even though we weren't really sure what that was at some stages) and guided us through the whole process, coming up with the most perfect day.
She took all the stress away, allowing us to really enjoy the organising process. She gave us the impetus to really put our thoughts into action and everything was so much better than we could have done it on our own. She has some really fantastic people around her as well, she knows the best florists and the best bands and all sorts!
